My mate stumbled upon this deal on our quest to get our hands on the OnePlus 3T. Best deal we have come across so far to date. Price has been reduced by USD$40 but not sure for how long as it does not state anywhere. The price quoted above is with the use of coupon code OPM2VE which saves you 2%. Please note that only 64GB Gunmetal Grey is in stock the rest is still on pre order status.

And how do you expect us to know which site this deal is on?

  • +6
    • Now it is listed at $619 @ eGlobal (using the above link)

      • +1

I think that's the China model. They buy it, open it up, flash OxygenOS onto it, then sell it to you. LOL at their description - "Gunmental"

        • Oh! No wonder their listing's description meant awkward.

      • +1

        Yeah, plus $25 shipping = $644

    • eGlobal do not honour their 12 month warranty at all. They'll just dick you around and then ignore you.

      • I just had my Nexus 6 repaired with them, 11 months after purchase, all went fine. Others may have had different experience with them but mine was fine

  • What's the warranty on these things?

    • Good luck I reckon

    • Their aren't released in Australia, so I assume you'll either need to contact the after sale service of the country the phone is from or get in contact with your seller. In any case, it could be a pain (I have a oneplus one, a pain to get my screen fixed when I cracked it)

    • About the same warranty you have for your thing.

  • +3

    $668 is too much overpriced…

    • It's a top tier phone specs wise. Pretty much equal to GS7

      • +1

pretty sure ive seen s7 on sale for 650 - 700 with australian warranty included!

      • +1

I know what they are and I quite like them. however $668 for a grey import isn't a good deal when you got $600 for GS7 grey import. Especially when they only worth AU$530 in China. GS7 still better in water proof/camera(especially night shot)/screen(2k vs 1k)/SD slot. OP3t betters in screen size/software(that's a big deal to me)/bigger ram(not really important)

        • Oneplus also has USB Type C. Which is the reason I haven't gotten a gs7.

        • -1

@Zondor: the one plus 3 only goes USB 2 speed though, It just has the reversible look (or is that your main factor?)

        • +1

@Zondor: The reason you didn't buy a phone, was because of the charging/data cable standard? That seems crazy unless you are HEAVILY invested in USB Type C cables and products.

        • +1

@OnlinePred: The older cables of mine always break. My 5x is still on it's original cable.

        • @Zondor: Because those cables are from google and are worth $35 AUD from their store. Spend that much on a good micro usb cable and you will be in the same boat.

          https://www.cablegeek.com.au/shop/cables/microusb/anker-powe…

Be careful when buying new Type C cables: https://plus.google.com/collection/0Vdov -this isn't a problem with micro usb.

You are effectively saying that you wouldn't buy a phone, because of the headphones it comes with aren't very good. They are replaceable and cheap in comparison. In addition, micro usb cables are still everywhere. I have 2 in my car, 3 in my house, and my mates have some at their place etc due to being around for a while. Type C on the other hand….

        • +1

@OnlinePred: I've had expensive of the other type cables, good silver stone ones and they have died too.

          I just prefer type C.

      • And GS7 can be had for roughly the same price as a grey import, but with additional bands.

    • +2

$668 is almost half the price of the brand name phones. Someone else who doesn't know what they're talking about…

      • +3

1/2 Price of brand name phones ….only iPhone 7S is $1300 …..Samsung s7 seems to go for $700 often now ….

Have you seen how much S7 is going for grey market? I wouldn't touch this without the band support for anything more than $400.

  • +3

This doesn't support band 28, right?

    • +1

      nope it doesn't

    • I have a oneplus one and it doesn't have band 28 either and I never have any problem connecting to Telstra. No matter where I travel, from the city to the bush I can always connect.

  • +1

    No band 28.
Dealing with a company like oppomart in China should a warranty issue arise.
    $700 (after generous 2% discount)

Not seeing a bargain. I'm seeing spam.

    • +1

Have you read the Australian reviews?
The blanket statement "No band 28" doesn't and shouldn't sway everyone, as it is still a great phone, even with Aus carriers.

  • Better off with DWI, had my oneplus get here within 3 day of order.

    • Sadly, I ordered from DWI on the 21st of November and am still waiting. The recent communication says that they won't get it into their Hong Kong Warehouse until after the 22nd of December. So won't get it in time for Christmas. Very disappointed. :(

  • Shares same camera as op3?

    • Camera on OP3T is improved compared to OP3.

      • +2

I thought the rear had the same hardware and was only slightly improved because of the 821 chipset. Although the face facing camera has been great improved with new hardware for those narcissist's out there.

        • you are right, the rear camera is pretty much the same except some software improvements, the selfie camera is better
