Umm…maybe you can upgrade to a 27" and 24" isn't going to satisfy you in terms of utility since youn already have 2. I dunno, I've got a 24" (1920x1200 res) and I'm loving it. I can fork out $200 for this monitor but prefer to wait for other future bargains coming from pricesengine.
Because 24" monitors will be cheaper next week, or the week after, etc.

Does anyone know if this monitor has audio passthrough for if we decide that the speakers onboard aren't adequate?
Being 2W speakers you can practically be guaranteed they're gonna be crap speakers for anything other than "beep" noises from windows/MSN sounds :)

Doesn't look like it does have an audio pass through, generally you'd either get one or the other.
No problems though, just connect your audio straight upto the computer instead?
My Ben Q has speakers and a headphone jack which you can use to plug in external speakers.
I dont think the headphone jack was advertised as a feature when i got the monitor.
I dont know if this is the same.

Unfortunately was going to get this for my Xbox 360, so would rather have audio passthrough, might be a dealbreaker for me :(
PS3's have the option to choose what connection to output the audio/video signal doesn't it ?
I would assume that the XBox should have something similar?
Seems the bulky stock 360 AV cable can't be plugged in at the same time as an HDMI cable. And I can't find a pass through on the back of the Acer monitor.
I'm waiting on a cheap ebay toslink adapter to turn up. If the adapter has the same bulky issue I may have to get out the hack saw.
update: only took a minute to wedge the connector apart with a putty knife. Now the stock cable fits with the hdmi cable and works as expected.
No worries, well the alternative for that is running VGA cables off of the 360 like I did before I sold it.
That way you have the full HD and have external sound.
Same quality regardless of what these "specialists" say on their websites :P
But you'd have to get a VGA to DVI adapter (can't remember how i got mine.. Think it came with my graphics card) but I'm sure it wouldn't cost much

I didn't actually receive an invoice with the monitor, and the Paypal receipt doesn't contain an ABN…
they emailed my receipt with the shipping notification (pdf).

I've been emailing pricesengine back and forth and they still haven't sent me my tax invoice despite me asking them every single time I've emailed them.

"This is just a courtesy update regarding your purchase.
Your purchase order has already been approved [ O-1xxxx ].
Thank you."

I got my invoice. Just email them for one and open the attachment.

I'm agreeing with billa911 and zn7726 I purchased and ipod have sent 2 emails one on the 1st and one this morning at 8 o'clock this morning with no response and still waiting for the ipod. I live in NSW I thought it would have been here days ago!! Maybe mine are in the spam box as well
