Ticketmaster changing the date (Aladdin)

Hi all,

I bought tickets to Aladdin in Sydney on the 1st of Jan for the 6:30pm session. Due to some unexpected family circumstances i can no longer attend…
Has anyone had experience in changing the date of their tickets? i still want to go.

Or is it best to try and sell them off and re-buy?

Regards,
John

Crazy idea. Have you tried calling ticketmaster?

      Ludicrous, why would they know?

I doubt they will be willing to switch dates. If you have bought the insurance that goes with it, and something comes up, you can claim on that. But best to call up and check.

Thanks all, planning to call… Was just looking for some knowledge before I did.

Will post how it all goes

  • Yea try to call and see if you can change date.

Otherwise try to sell to friends/family from facebook, gumtree etc and buy the rush ticket at $45.

Closing this off. Had a chat with them and they were surprisingly understanding. Helped me change the date for a small fee, and it was not too much of a hassle.

You do have to go through a process of approvals, and I may have just got lucky with the customer service personal.

    • Thanks for updating us on this. I must bear this in mind now. I always thought it is non-refundable, the reason why they also sell insurance to protect against contingencies.

      • In hindsight I would buy insurance… I don't remember it being that expensive. There was a change fee of 10 dollars. So may balance out
