Might be good for those who missed out at JB today. The $319 deal is good value as you get an extra game (Forza 5..old I know) but also TMNT Out of the Shadows 4K UHD Blu ray for $20 more than the $299 console.

Good on Microsoft for being so competitive. Hope they kick Sony into gear and make them reduce their prices too.
Microsoft has no choice but to be competitive, because PS4 has outsold Xbox One 2:1 since release.
Sony can afford to charge a little more, because they're not the one who is struggling.
That being said, there's been some real good PS4 deals lately too.
Also the reason why the PS4 doesnt have 4K Blu Ray…? Why sell one product comfortably when you can sell two since theres no competition atm.

Last I checked which was a while back it was 20 odd million, I guess thats now ballooned to 26 million.

Which are both true points. At no point did anyone bring up monthly sales figures or "4 straight months". The context of the conversation was overall sales. I wasn't excited about this gen consoles, I used to like ps3 but when I held that ps4 control, something felt off and the x-bone it also didn't excite me as much but something has excited me and it's been at least 5 years since I was this excited for a console and it's probably the one I will buy, the nintendo switch

I don't think you'll have to go to those lengths. My local EB told me that, for tomorrow only, some of their packs ($368 ones, I believe) will be $299. I only tried my local store, so can't comment on others.
Even though it's called out on their homepage, the offer isn't live, even when adding the right product to basket…anyone had any success ordering online?…or is this an instore thing only?
