          awesome, thanks!

        • @unfunkable:
          no dice
canberra (braddon) 1st choice refused to price match

  • Make sure you check your click-and-collect purchases. Just yesterday I was picking up two items (Baileys and Galway Pipe port). Both where in a 1st Choice carry bag. Got out to the car and realised the port was actually McWilliams Hanwood ($6 difference in price at the moment). Went back in and got it changed. Might have been a genuine mistake when being picked, but my invoice definitely said Galway Pipe.

  • Do 1st choice price match ? Looking to get them to price match dan murphys $22 bailey's gift pack buy 3 use $10 off voucher and pay $18 each

    • yes :)

    • They do but the T&C are pretty strict and they might not match odd things like gift packs.

      • They will definitely match Dan Murphys. Gift packs or not.

  • Do 1st Choice price match their own stores?

Can I show some of the pics from this thread to receive BOGOF items that my local does not have?

Hi, to save others time I headed straight to Tooronga (Vic) when I read this but they were all cleared out (Head office cleaned them out as soon as it started apparently!). I also called Abbotsford and Ashburton and they had limited stock left in the premium ranges (was after champagne and they were both out and only had a few items left).

    • Why would HO clear stock that is already advertised?

Is someone from Management looking to host their own Christmas Party?

      • Sorry - meant the staff at HQ had early warning that a sale was coming so they shopped up!

  • Just went to my local store (Naremburn NSW) they are doing Buy Two Get One Free on some items, otherwise anything that did have a BOGOF tag there was no stock of or it wasn't worth buying (e.g. $6 bottles of wine).

    • Same, went to Naremburn. Fairly disappointed.
The Ata Rangi is insanely good.
Dude said come back Wed. I assume BOGOF will be over by then…

      • Do you happen to know if the Paringa Estate Pinot Noir is still there? Kinda regret only buying 2 bottles not clearing the rest out a week ago.

Nothing worth buying at Ashfield or Forestville either.

  • No good deal at North Rocks NSW

  • Did you get any photos of the BYGOF offers for any of these 3:

Wirra Wirra The Angelus Cabernet Sauvignon 750mL 2011/12
    St Hugo Shiraz Cabernet 750mL
St Hallett SV Sonntag Shiraz 750ml 2013

  • Nice work OP. Let me save anyone the trouble of visiting the Newstead store - zero worth buying there.

  • I'm confused, does BOGOF wines vary from store to store?
I don't know which wines are good and would like to read reviews at home, before I go to the store.

whilst BOGOF is meant to be in-store only with stock selection varying between stores

      reviews and more

      • cheers Tonester, but I'm a novice drinker and usually read the reviews on Dan's/ look at the award stickers on the bottle.
I've been to a few 1st choice's in WA and pretty much anything above $20 is gone.

  • Op need to update st hugo.
    Only GSM variety, not shiraz.
    Got 7. Cheers

  • Went to the Burwood One today, most of the good expensive stuff was all gone,
Ended up getting a few $30 Bottles of white buy 1 get 1 free
I tried to use the amex spend $150 get $30 deal and tried to put through a variety of mi and matches together,
the shop person explained that you get the cheapest ones for free so since I had a $60 bottle of wine, I wouldnt get the other one free but hte $20 ones

so the guy put it trhoguh as separate transactions,
I also had the $10 off voucher which was applied, and ended up buyinga few others to make it $150 all up

showed my flybys , not sure if I got the 1000 points since its not in my offer list

    overall, not a bad transaction!

    awesome

Went to four stores, "Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin Vintage 750mL 2008 $109" and "Leconfield Cabernet Sauvignon 750mL 2013 $30" are not included in this BOGOF promotion.

    • sorry :(

      • Thank you , sold out at a few stores i tried going to try price match at Dans.

      • Successfully priced match 4 bottles at Dans , no probs lady who served me even gave them to me for $2 less .Thanks Tonester for the photo & the post.

  • Can you print the dockets from the first and second links and use them in store?

  • Tonester can you please post tag for the Ata Rangi Pinot Noir?
    Many thanks
    Mike H

    • sorry don't have :(

  • My store had quite a few of the OP listed bottles but they didn't have 2 for 1 tags. The decent ones that did have the tags were mostly sold out.

  • I'm buying my old man a white wine bottle as gift - can somebody recommend me a good bottle? I have zero knowledge of wine tho :( thank you very much

  • Does anyone have a BOGOF photo of Mount Pleasant Elizabeth Semillon?

    • It won't help. The BOGOF for that wine applies at that store only - unless you can convince the clerks otherwise.

I was told that the offers are not the same from store to store and apply to excess stock they're trying to get rid of.

  • Order cancelled due to one of the coupons. Disgusting PR. If your order got cancelled too, post on their FB page. At least TM Lewein honored their coupon and sent everyone an email about the situation.

  • They're not accepting the Top Drops $10 off $50 voucher in store any more

  • Has anyone had success getting FCL stores to match each other for those deals?

  • How do I sign up for the Top Drops eNewsletter?

I can't find any mention of any newsletter on the website.

  • it's quite strange however here's what happened - I bought 4 slabs of beer $52 each and used $10 off coupon making it $42 each ( 4 transactions) which in turns qualifes for $30 back from $150 Amex offer -so net outlay was $142 for 4 slabs. Today I have 3 refunds from FCL each for $42 on my AMEX CARD, refunding me $126, - The beer is already finished, do I need to do anything?

    • +1

So you've drunk the beer and got 3/4 of your money back?

You MAY lose your AmEx credit but even then you're streets ahead. Rejoice in FCL's incompetence at attempting to be stingy.

      • Yes the Amex credit was also debited back, but still far ahead!

  • Does anyone have a copy of the email for the $10 off voucher? They asked for the original email to be able to use it.

    • Must have been unlucky.. Just used the pdf on phone today.
Couldn't tell them you deleted ages ago? Voucher only says to print or present on your phone, doesn't say you need to keep the original email.

      • I tried that. But they said it had been shared online so they were told to ask to see the original email.

  • Anyone seen a new $10 off voucher? 30/1 is nearly upon us, I've had a look on the site but can't see anywhere to sign up to the top drops newsletter for a new one, though it's still being advertised on the bottom of the receipts.

  • $10 off Coupon has expired any more for FEB?
