The original source suggests that this will be available:
- online from Christmas Day
- in store from Boxing Day

This is one of the few 1TB options available (soon) with multiple games and a BluRay at a decent price.

I realise that you can buy an add-on drive for the 500GB, but this might be of interest to those who don't want an external HDD.

    so is it better to get this deal or the 500gb and a exteranl 3tb hhd? what do peopple think? youd kinda need a external hhd in any event right as games are so so big? 50gb so really like 8-9 games only.

      I bought a 500GB recently. With the OS and what ever else came preinstalled, there was only about 350GB left for games of which I only fit 7 so yes, an external HDD is necessary with a 500GB Xbone. If you're just a casual gamer, you could get away with not needing an external HDD with a 1TB Xbone.

        That's because no one keeps tab on the "Others" category of the site. Most (like myself) would regularly check/subscribe to the "Gaming" or "Electrical" categories.

      XB1S has a 4k BluRay player, sadly no deals on the PS4 Pro (which as an aside does not support 4k BluRay for some bizarre reason)

        Some Sony fans claimed that it is because Sony wisely saw the future of 4K,a 4K world without discs.

        My understanding is Sony wants to sell its 4k players separately.

          @Maxdax: I got one shortly before I posted that reply. It said there was only a few left. I didn't get screwed around like people did for the NES console. I managed to enter three gift cards and my flybuys number without getting booted or it selling out while I was in the checkout. Just lucky that I checked at that time though.
