Plant monitor? Seriously? How hard is it to just water your plant?

What's next, a food monitor that reminds us to eat?

    • It has a breathing monitor which is basically some headphones with a recording of someone reminding you to "breath in, breath out".

    • The Apple Watch reminds people to get up and walk around.

  • +2

This plant monitor might be beneficial for stupid people like me on a rental property. I think I have looked after the roses but they look dead.

  • Whats the warranty like on these Xiaomi Yi II 4K Action Camera's?

  • Currently $267 @ Gearbest. Can you beat that Clear?

They're the same price… both $199.99 US and if you combine with Cashrewards you'll get an extra 3.20% back. The AU is going to depend on the fluctuating AUD and how you pay.

      • They're the same price… both $199.99 US

They are both listed in at Us$199, however, Gearbest has a much better exchange rate when you convert to AUD before paying….

Gearbest aud$267 (effective rate of US$0.745)
GeekBuying aud$286 (effective rate of US$0.695)

Both are currently better options than paying in USD. PAYPAL and Australian issued credit cards are only giving US$0.685 today.

        RIP AUD

        • +1

Yes I understand, but Gkb only accept US and this deal is only US which is why I said they're the same price.

Down voting is unnecessary as I'll ask for a lower price.

        • @Clear:

Ok….I hadnt noticed that Gearbest converted back to USD at the last step. deceptive.

Indeed both are about the same price of around $286-$288 using paypal or CC. Where did the $277 come from?

        • +1

@ash2000: I never knew they did either. $277 came from the current AUD equivalent at the time of posting. I'm required to include an AUD equivalent if space allows.

        • @Clear: I'll need to be more cautious with GearBest when comparing prices….. anyway…….a great camera for the price, I bought one during the 11/11 sale. Nothing else comes close for under $500 AUD.

  • plant monitor app is only in Chinese?
