So what are the differences between this and the regular 8000?
Has a bit of a bezel and comes in 60'. 'Supposedly' (I can't find anything on this), it uses a non Samsung panel.
I got the 55" model from JB a couple of weeks ago at $1998 or something, and I see today that they've reduced it to be around $500 cheaper again… Is there any consumer law or something that allows me to recover that $500? It's a bit dirty to advertise a one day only sale, and then reduce it even further two weeks later :/

May be wrong but i thought they had a 30 day price guarantee so if you bring in your receipt they can refund you the difference. If you fall in that period it might be worth looking into.
I'll call HSBC and ask them. I couldn't really find any information. I took out their 60 months interest free thing since it was supposed to be a one day sale lol. Their other products have it, but it's not a premium credit card service, so I would be surprised
And a bit cheaper at Kambos and Bing Lee if it suits
