  • $50 after cashback

What about shipping ? Doesn't it make it $60?

    • +4

Just tried it and shipping gets refunded, so it's $75 delivered.

OW will price match that so you should be able to get it for $71.25 which is $46.25 after cashback.

After tax refund, that works out at around $25 !!!

      • Hello,

If you would would be so lovely as to help answer a few of my questions I would be over joyed ^.

How do I claim Cash back and do a Price match? Also How do I Claim tax refund?

        • +3

Details of cash back are on the shopping Express listing. Officeworks web site describes their price match policy.
Tax refund only applies if you only use the software for work and can claim it on your annual income tax return. It's value depends on how much you earn. Technically if you use the software for x% personal use, you can only claim (100-x)% of the software on your tax return.

I presume cashback would be via the microsoft website (follow the instructions when you purchase office). As for the tax refund I could not possibly give you any more advice than to see your accountant :)

    So, $50 after cash back.
    Nice!

Confirmed for free shipping.. Got one too.

      • Why only one? You can stack them… You're not likely to find it cheaper…

        • Well, no money after whole day shopping.
          Just enough for one. LOL

I already have 2 years in my subscription. And no more money after shopping all the good deals in the last few weeks.

Agree though this is a great deal.

        • My thinking too, but the web site won't let me add multiple copies. How have you or others gotten around this? Will it let someone do multiple orders to the same Shopping Express account? Or will I need to resort to multiple email accounts, addresses, credit card etc?

I got mine at Officeworks and got 5% off… No problem getting two…

        • @jv: cool, thanks

        • +1

@jv: affirmative, just got 2 office matched at Officeworks too. They were questioning about whether it's the disc or just the card. Luckily SE website does mention electronic software requires download via the internet. I'm good for another 4 years.

  • Can someone advice on this please-If i need basic ms office like word, excel and power point -Do they release only in 1 or 2 year subscriptions ? If i need a lifelong software like in olden days would this help - http://www.shoppingexpress.com.au/buy/microsoft-office-home-…

Lifetime key, yes, home and student will do.
But only stuck with 2016. Cannot upgrade if they have newer version, say 2018 of 2020, etc.

If just need just two years, still, h&s seems more bargain.

      Cheers!

Plus cloud storage. It's a great deal.

        • +2

The cloud storage alone is worth it. I've got access to office using my work email address, but want the 1TB of cloud backup space.

        thanks mate

    • +3

Yep that'll get you Office 2016 for 1 PC, the 365 home licence lets you use it on up to 5 PCs and you get updates to new versions but you need to pay annually.

Price match at Harvey Norman, buy 4 = 300 dollars, pay with Amex, get 100 back from Amex, another 100 back from cash back?
I didn't actually do this though, just thought I'd throw it out there for the would-be professionals.

    • +2

I tried yesterday afternoon. Apparently they won't price match except to other "omni-channel retailers" :-(
Maybe they're on the lookout for professionals.

  • Now showing as out of stock

    • +2

Back in stock at $4 more until the 30th if you're after it
