You can get a factory 2nd cheaper at $129 but with it being a factory 2nd and only 6 month warranty versus new and a 5 year warranty the new option is a no brainer. Shipping appears to be cheaper at COTD too.

Was $600ish on release, JB & HN still have it at $400.

After some googling it seems people who bought it even at those higher prices seem to be pretty happy with it.

    Great deal.

  • Its a great price, but after watching Kenwood presentation video - its just too much hassle. Put one blade, put another, press x number of times on various buttons etc. Yes,you do it in one pot, but forbthe sake of cleaning few extra pieces, I dont think its worth it. Get yourself a pressure cooker

  • Thanks OP, got one.

  • I looked at these but think that they are quite limited in what they can do. More importantly, I have seen comments where the instructions are followed exactly by an experienced cook and the result was uneven cooking (risotto) and complete fail (custard or sauce).

  • Choice found them pretty ordinary too for what they can do, especially compared to the competition.

  • I've got one. Not bad but I'd say the Phillips all in one slow cooker and pressure cooker is a better buy. We use that for everything now. I agree that this thing can stir and chop food - but the results just aren't as good. For a set and forget cooking tool - the Phillips is really really good.
