HIFIMAN Over Ear Full-size Planar Magnetic Headphones HE400i with Fiio Q1 Amplifier for US $259 @ www.buydig.com. According to their website they ship to Australia but it's ridiculously expensive US $ 66. Might only be worth it if you use a freight forwarder like Shipito regularly .The headphone amp is valued at US $99 so really your only paying US $160 for the headphones

Some recent reddit threads about the Hifiman, alleging review manipulation and dodgy warranty practices (+ high defect rate to begin with). The deleted CS conversation was for a replacement headband three months after purchase. Originally quoted at $50 for a headband, it was updated to $230 for no particular reason, and brought back down to $50 for the poster probably due to the attention the post received.

Hifiman is overpriced and spent a lot of money on reviews. Their products are not that good as read on internet. Personally prefer traditional long term headphone brands like Sennheiser & Beyerdynamic
Their build quality might be a bit questionable, but these headphones sound fantastic for the price. Just a word of warning to anyone buying them though, the bass is not as strong as you might expect for a planar.
I don't think that these ship to Australia. There was no drop down for Australia in the country field when I tried.
I take this back, buydig seemed to have added australia to the country list, however the shipping estimate to sydney is us $136.
The op should add substantiated delivery price to the title for genuine comparison purposes.

For anyone considering this deal, to get a good deal on shipping you could use Australia Post ShopMate. AP currently have 15% off your first order with ShopMate until tomorrow night and from what I can tell the shipping would be about $30 AUD, as well as using the coupon "WelcomeBG5" @ BuyDig which takes off $5 and gives free shipping to U.S addresses (ShopMate address). So could be a very good deal considering the headphones themselves go for about $415 AUD
