[Myer] Breville Kitchen Wizz Pro BFP800 Cranberry $332.10 (33.5% off, RRP $499)

130

Have been looking at this model for a while and this is by far the best deal I've seen. Most shops sell for $450+ so this for $332 delivered is outstanding. Even the factory refurbs on ebay were going for $380 delivered.

As far as the unit itself goes I have heard good things, Breville are a pretty solid manufacturer.

I think The Good Guys have it for $299

    • Hmmmm the good guys website is strange, checking this out.

      • I think it's sold out online, but I picked one up in store for $299.

        • The good guys website says that the $299 one has a 2.5L capacity, and the 'same' silver version says 3.7L and 1L.

  • Far out I think you are right… They have it listed differently to the silver 2000 watt version… Eeek!

  • This isn't the one with the extra blade options, right?
That's the one I've been waiting for.

    • Can't see any 'blade option' versions, I think it comes with all the blades as stock or what?

This one should come with all blades as standard. It should have mini blade for mini processor, for the big processor - quad blade, dough blade, whisk, grater, adjustable slicer, big chipper, small chipper.
I've owned this model 3 years now. Love it.

I have the same model & recommend it.

They make awesome food processors, strong, wont burn out. They are heavy though so if your frail move along.

Dont drop the bowl, the plastic is brittle and expencive to replace.

All in all I voted this deal because price is good and its a great unit.

  • all sold out?

Got the the BFP800 a few months ago for $315 on the David Jones sale. They where out of stock of all colours and the guy in the store gave me the silver instead. I grabbed it and walked out as quick as I could as the sale clearly mentioned while stock lasts and does not include the silver. $330 is a very good price as this item is hard to find under $399

    • $315 for the silver is a great deal, would have preferred in silver but cheapest I have found that for was $399.

I've been looking at this model for a while, waiting for a good deal. So just to be clear - the silver bfp800 just has a bigger bowl? The cranberry a smaller bowl? Or are they the same just different colours? Guessing most people prefer silver. Please let me know. I'll see if I can get it at $299 by going to the TGG tomorrow.

I actually think TGG website is wrong, I first saw the $299 deal a week ago but thought it was a totally different model. Says 3.7 litre + 1 litre for the silver and for the cranberry a 2.5 litre with no mention of a smaller inner bowl. The Myer website just says 2 litre capacity for both and has the full price of the cranberry at $499 (same as the silver).

I think in reality the silver is just more expensive because it's aluminum instead of plastic shell, but both products are the exact same.

I asked to see the cranberry in store and was told they couldn't order it in but I might be able to get it online.

      • Great, thanks for your quick response!

If the model number starts with BFP800—-, then they're exactly the same, just different colours…

BFP800BAL = Brushed Aluminium (aka: Silver)
      BFP800CRN = Cranberry

There's other colours as well including Sherbet, Black Sesame, Elderberry & Frosting

If you haven't already bought it KP2015, I'd avoid buying this model (BFP800). The plastic is extremely fragile, and breaks very easily. It's not covered by warranty either. I suspect they do it deliberately to force you to pay for replacement parts and make more money.

      • Thanks for the warning. I haven't brought it yet. Still deciding, now based on your comment I might have to consider another brand! Cheers
