  • I could be wrong, but isn't the photo in a Kmart store!?

  • Agree with you carlenet ,does look like Kmart store ,
Also can you confirm the $5 clearance sign isn't for the $10 items behind meaning they were $10 and clearanced down to $5 , and the other stuff just got dumped In front of it

    • Definitely these items (I purchased some).

They scanned at $19, but before I could even raise, someone was at the (self) checkout ready to correct the price.

  • Is the frozen drink maker any good? Does it make slurpee / Granada type drinks?

Haven't tried myself (yet - cocktails later!), but we got the same model about a year ago for my parents-in-law and they use it to make frozen margaritas.

It's basically just an ice shaver/crusher than then mixes with the liquid in the jug below.

Ok great just checking there always cheeky and sly with there pricing .
Can anyone confirm this in WA ?

    • Would love to know also

    • They were $10 at Innaloo yesterday!

  • I was given one of the frozen drink makers - total crap.

    • Elaborate?

I was given one, as well as another one by different company (well, my kids were given them by people who had the best intentions).

with both of them the cup within the maker and the ingredients neeed to be chilled overnight. the motor in the maker is weak. a lot of effort for very little return - and it takes up room. far more gimmicky than practical. I ended up leaving both of them outside on the nature strip with a "Free" sign. gone in 3 hours.

          gone in 3 hours.

Would have been 30 minutes if you'd put a bike lock on it.

Does anyone know if the fairyfloss maker works?

    • I would also love to know.

Reading the box, it looks like you just chuck in hard lollies and it turns it into magical fairyfloss? Including using sugar free lollies?

      That sounds like my dream.

    • Looks like it does.

I want one of these things right now.

used mine last night and it works fine! Need to refine my technique cos atm making it too dense but def comes out as fairy floss! I used broken up candy canes :)

  • No cotton candy maker in either the Rosny or New Town (TAS) stores. New Town had the donut maker but it was still marked and scanning at $15.

  • They are a different price in every store. I posted a few days ago thet they were $2 in the Toowong QLD store (now sold out).

Just spoke to Kmart Broadway and just marked down to $2 each - have about 50 donut makers and 50 fairy floss makers left.
