  • Will the QC works with Xiaomi Mi Mix?

    • -1

It should since it uses type c cables.

      • +1

not all USB C supports QC2.0 or 3.0

you have mi mix? how is it?

      • I haven't received it yet. It is being posted from Hong Kong yesterday. Should be arriving in few days and I will let you know how it goes.

        • yeah les us know! does it come with warranty?

        • @aznhy01: I bought it from Eglobaldigitalcameras. I dealt with them before and I thought they have good customer service. From look at the website, it says I have 12 months warranty. Of course, it has to be sent back to Eglobal (hongkong). However, I have dealt with them before and I felt it shouldnt be a problem much. They are pretty trust worthy.

        • Mmm.. I'm also interested in your feedback. I love my Mi Max..

Damn good price! Got one, thanks!
Shame the P9 doesn't do QC 2.0 but at least I can quick charge the battery!

  • Dam, missed out reading the finer details. Next time.

  • Link broken

Banggood has a good BlitzWolf one for $32 but its QC3.0 not QC2.0
    http://www.banggood.com/Qualcomm-Certified-BlitzWolf-BW-P3-9…

    just another option.

    • So QC3.0 is not backwards compatible then?

    • That's only the usual 5W/2A input though

    • Just a FYI: BG can't ship power banks to Australia anymore. It would appear customs are stopping the new method of sending power banks.

      • thanks, i never knew that.

  • Who knows a lot about these? This one on ebay seems to be almost the same but without the 'PRO' - no usb C, slightly bigger in size but input/output seems to be almost the same?

    • The Xiaomi Powerbank from this deal was released first and has the USB-C connection. The PRO was released recently and is the same without the USB-C Port.

    • Pro version comes only in dark grey colour and has usb c port for charging.

Also Mushtato seem to still have it in stock on their ebay for $42.95.

    • Bought, thanks!

    • $43.95 now

  • Can anyone confirm if genuine?

    • +2

Xiaomi product box comes with a scratchie containing serial number you can check in Xiaomi website.

  • :( how did I miss this. No stock left

Anyone know if these can charge a macbook/ultrabooks with usb-c charging ports?

    • +1

Not sure if the 5.1V output is enough to charge the macbook/ultrabook, it may work if its powered down but will take very long to charge.

      • Would this potentially damage the mac?

        • +2

          I wouldn't imagine so,
Think of it as filling up a jug one drop at a time

  • Does anyone know of a powerbank that's QC 3.0 + USB C charging both ways? Don't want to carry a microusb just to charge

  • As many people have said before (and I have tested this), the USB-C port is only for charging the powerbank itself. People have said that QuickCharge is also only for charging the powerbank itself (I have not tested this).

    • +1

It's 2 way quick charge, not 1 way.
I can test it when I get it with my G4.

  • I have this from a previous deal. Awesome Powerball. I have a Huawei 6P and it partners nice.

My only con: doesn't support Nexus rapid charge output.

  • Is the new Xiaomi 20000mah available yet? Would love to get one of those.

  • Hasn't shipped yet. Disappointing.
