While I only buy MFi cables, honestly even a non-MFi cable will likely work just fine now and in the future. Perhaps the quality may not be there on these $1 cables but that's all.

This is a short cable so is usually intended to keep your phone topped off in the car or similar. They're a bit awkward to use to charge from a computer or on your nightstand.

In general, the cheaper the cable the less likely it is to enable full speed charging. (i.e. thinner conductors.)

      • the short maybe to charge from power banks.

If it is not MFI certified you risk the cable frying your components.

    • Thanks bought this also

  • Title misleading. It's a cable, not a charger.

    • Sorry the title has been updated

  • Just be careful with deals that are free and you just pay shipping. If you have any issues, there is no way to claim these back via PayPal because shipping does not count.
