Z533 are for weaklings
Z623 are the way to go for bass
In the Logitech universe, bigger model numbers and higher price = better
The unprotected drivers is a no no for me on the 533.
I prefer the z506 myself $109 and 5.1, actually looking for a set of z906s cheap but probably won't happen

These are a very good alternative to a sound bar on a TV with a 3.5mm jack. Heaps more power per dollar.

Hey I tried to hook mine up to my TV but the volume was very low basically I can't hear anything even when I turn up the speaker volume. I have a Samsung 2013 Model 6400 series tv. The headphone output will still play sound even if the TV volume is set to zero(seems they are independent of each other). Any ideas what's going on with my TV..
Does this mean the headphone output Power/volume is not enough for my speakers cos it does not have a AMP??
I had a 2015 SS 6400 last year. There was a setting in the audio options where you had to select speakers as audio output. Mine was very low until I changed that (from memory it actually disabled the TV's volume control altogether - adjustment had to be done on the speakers). I unfortunately can't help you any more than that though, I can't remember where it was exactly, nor do I know if it's the same for the 2013 model.
My dad's crappy cheapo Dick Smith TV can do it loudly, so I can't see why a SS wouldn't be able to.
Thanks bro i will give it a try…i had the reverse effect when i used my QC25 to watch a movie.. the sound was TOO loud when i turn on the noise cancellation.. will play around in the settings to see if it will help.. thanks
