Long time lurker. First time poster.
Love L'Or pods and usually buy boxes of 60 x Superiore from Costco for $23 (38c ea) so I was pretty damn keen on this deal with more flavour options for 30c ea. Spotted in SA. Pretty sure nation wide?

The Vittoria ones are quite nice.
Tried them and didn't like them.
I tried the Vittoria ones last week and they smell like cigarette ashes :( Maybe it was just a "burnt" batch…

Are Genuine Nespresso better? Yes.
Are they twice the cost better? Nope.
I don't think it's that black and white. Most people limit their ceffeine intake so for every bad coffee you sacrificed the joy of a good one. To me, a good coffee is worth a fair bit (a lot more than 70c) whereas I prefer not to drink a mediocre coffee even if it was given to me.

I'm a fan of these pods, great alternative and some nice flavours too, like Rosé.
Not as good as Nespresso of course but my preferred compatible pods.
Yes, I'll second cyssero's comment. I don't mind L'Or at all,and at almost one third of the price of Nespresso, these are a steal.
Coles and Woolworths' pods are quite nice considering they're only $3.70 for pack of 10. LOR is not as good compared to these and they're overpriced.
The Woolworths Select pods are surprisingly good.
I haven't found any good third party pods. I tried Podista brand from Good Guys and they let off a very strange odour as soon as I opened the pack. They are made so cheaply compared to genuine Nespresso pods as well. Cheap little plastic container and some foil with 50grams of coffee sold for $5, they would be making a fortune.. I just wonder if anyone actually buys and enjoys it. But for $3 I will give these ones a go, hopefully they are better.
