    Orgasmic deal!

  • +1

    Thanks OP.

    Hopefully not another order cancellation.

  • +1

Will the wall socket be suitable for 230VAC?

    • You're ordering from America. It won't have an Australian plug unless it says so. As far as I know the charger itself will work with an adapter.

      • Any suggestions for a decent value adapter? eBay is crawling with garbage, and K-mart etc only seem to have big universal things (which I bought, also garbage!)

      • +3

Yeah. I'd rather buy a local Australian battery charger, not having to bother with a US to AUS power plug adapter.

    • Supplied with Multi-voltage 100-240v. US plug.

      • Cool better grab a cheapo adapter

    • I bought the same one in Costco 2 weeks ago for $32.99… The US one is 110V

      • He Mate, Does Yours from Costco have led charge indicator

  • Crazy, thanks.

  • so it is a smart charger?

    • +9

The charger as shown in the photo is BQ-CC17, a smart and slow charger.
The chargers in the recent Bing Lee post are BQ-CC18 (dumb and slow charger) and BQ-CC16 (smart and fast charger).

      • +2

        • Thanks man. Sorry but I don't see Amazon there… What am I missing?

        • +1

          @sebasg91:

Interesting, I cant see it either, the link doesnt work:
          https://www.cashrewards.com.au/amazon

          Google still cached however:
          Amazon | CashRewards
          https://www.cashrewards.com.au/amazon
          Amazon. Up to 5.50% Cashback.

          help us TA! ):

        • When I click on Amazon, I actually get a message at cashrewards saying:

"Sorry, this merchant is not found.

However, we do have thousands of other stores to choose from."

          Weird…

@EriceKahlua: It is back, however with a reduced 3% cash back though.

Yikes… Check the reviews first people. A few too many "opened packages" and "exploding batteries" for me!

  • Does anybody knows about this product? Is this the smart charger or just the normal one ?
Thank you for your answer in advance

  • Just bought 8 x AA and 4 x AAA with BQ-CC51 Basic Charger for $40 from Costco a couple days ago. Is this one a better choice as I think the BQ-CC51 is a basic charger? For $9 more, just wondering if worth returning (still sealed, they should accept the return I guess) it and buy this instead?

    Update:

Found reviews for BQ-CC17 and BQ-CC51. I think maybe it's worth returning and buy this instead. But this one comes with a US plug…

    • +1

      Just keep what you have.

    • US plug will be a hassle.

  • Very good value. But I got too many eneloop batteries from past deals.

    • +5

I must have about 20 eneloops around the house but can't find them when I need them haha.

I love the sexiness of Eneloop cells as much as the next man, but my head says you'd be far better off getting the Nitecore D4 for <aud$30 and 3 packs of LSD's from Aldi for the same sort of coin.

But yes, they are a lovely looking battery.

    • +1

is the Nitecore D4 better charger than this deal? why?

      • The charger is infinitely better….. It allows you to charge multiple types of batteries, different chemistries all at the same time. Every cell is analysed independently and charged according to its needs. The Eneloop 'smart charger' is a one trick pony. AA/AAA NIMH and that's it.

        • All what you say, stands. But you can't really give an answer since for all we know he/she can be completely fine with the Eneloop as we don't really know what he/she needs a charger for and until we do, there is no right answer as they might only need a charger for AA/AAA NIMH, in which case this would be better as it comes with batteries. It's a different story if I want to use batteries in a sophisticated device and want to match all batteries to be the same to get the best possible result.

        • @bargainparker:

This eneloop charger has two fixed US pins at the back, which you must then use a converter for. This would be a nightmare to keep balanced in a wall socket or power-board. Even the Australian eneloop charger (which I own) is awkward to use because its so wide and obscures other sockets. The D4 used a figure 8 power cable.

        • @ash2000:
I don't know what you are talking about. While I do agree it to be a bit wobblier than if you just plugged it in a wall socket/power-board, I wouldn't call it a nightmare. I would call it inconvenience. I'd love to be able to just take whatever I have and not carry 3 different converters for each country, but I have to. There are some converters on eBay that I wouldn't use even if they were free as they are not just a nightmare to use but also unsafe as connections are too loose. It is better to spend a little bit more for quality ones as they will not only fit better but will last for ages given there are no electronics inside.

  • Just wondering how the payment option for amazon works. Since paypal isn't accepted, I am wary of any additional conversion charges on my credit card if I pay with my credit card.

Can someone who had previously purchased from amazon clarify this for me please?

    • You can select to Pay in AUD or USD. If you pay in USD your bank will do the conversion.

  • I still struggle with many devices quickly thinking the batteries are drained when using 1.2v batteries. What are these?

    • +3

All* AA/AAA's rechargeable cells are 1.2v.

*some Chinese manufacturers are now selling AA NiZN cells rated at 1.6v

  • +1

Pray tell, what are these "eneloops" you speak of? Ha ha

    Back in stock OP

  • My xbox one S conrollers chew up batteries like no tomorrow, are these a good buy. I dont think I have a US converter, not even sure what that is. I'm just a guy that goes through to many batteries and looking for a better solution.

    • maybe you need to buy an Xbox One S controller instead

  • will wait for the smart and fast charger..

  • Having issues adding this to my cart… Anyone else?

  • Expired

  • Still available, but more expensive

  • and….it's back (for the USD 35.96) bought one.

  • Received my package this morning. Disappointed with the packing to say the least.
