Never had one - should I buy Wave or Wingman? would be in my bag that I travel to work with for the odd occasional use when I need a tool. Can afford both. I've heard no point buying Wingman and just to get the Wave, plus the sheath will come in handy

  If the extra size and weight isn't a concern you might as well get the wave. More tools means potentially more useful.

      Yeah for most people the pliers, scissors, basic screw drivers etc on the wingman do the job.

My favourite is the skeletool. I have one that I gave away. instant regret.

I carry one for hiking and camping, not as a toolkit so the lack of tools is ok for me.

I do need scissors so the style with scissors and twizers compliments the skeletool

I found my first Leatherman (a Wave) while out fishing. Was buried in mud and had obviously been in the elements a while. Took it home, cleaned it up, sprayed it with some WD-40 and they were working good as new - blades were all still sharp and no signs of anything seizing up. Was so impressed with the quality I bought a Wingman as a backup, and I've been so impressed with that, I'm going to buy another Wingman right now. Always worth keeping a pair in the car.

Ordered Sunday, delivery due Thursday, still no sign of it. Might have oversold. Tracking is useless, no sure why they include it, except if it truly hasn't actually left the depot, although their email said it was sent. I am in metro Melbourne.
