I was after one of these even though I know it is a bit of an old model. I thought it would be good to take on an upcoming overseas trip. Certified Technology ran out of the refurbished ones and I was reluctant to buy from ebay. I thought this is a good price. Shipping was free, not sure why.

  • Pretty good price for a QHD+ screen laptop ( 3200x1800). Battery life looks good. SSD card a bit small but ok for the price. Pity the screen doesn't turn 360deg.

If you want a 360 flip and larger SSD but are willing to sacrifice QHD+ (1080p only), the Zenbook ux360ca is well priced from Amazon https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01HZT6AR0
      Includes international warranty.
When Amazon.com have stock as the seller, it is often $499 USD + shipping. I bought one recently and it was about $720 AUD shipped.

If I was going to buy one myself I'd lean towards the Asus Zenbook UX305UA in this deal. For $24 extra you get a better processor, but only FHD screen. Both good deals though!

As an owner of the QHD+ core m model I would agree. The QHD+ uses more battery than the 1080p and you will be scaling text to at least 200℅ on a 13" screen i.e. no screen real estate advantage. Core m processors can be slow for some things.

      • How many hours do you get out of the battery?

        • Still 5-7 because the processor is only 4.5w max, the system idles at less than two watts total plus the screen. But I've heard the 1080p gets about 30℅ extra. I reckon the i5 1080p would be similar to the qhd+ core m

        • Thanks. It's for a mum, so touchscreen is essential, and only the QHD+ is a touchscreen if I'm not mistaken.

  • Landmark computers are selling it for $1099

  • So the computer arrived today but it is not a UX305 but a UX310, I think the specs are the same but should I be upset about this?
