my mate bought one of this (somewhere else) and after 4 months, its dead. so minnie, how long is the warranty for this LG? elsewhere is 3 years LG Warranty. how about pricesengine? really want to order 1 just wait for the warranty confirmation :) it is good idea for pricesengine to write the warranty condition on every item you sell.
It's 3 years from LG but the first years you can send it back to us if monitor it's dead, but I think it will be more fast to contact with LG.
They will arrange a new one for your straight a way if your monitor it's dead.

The purchase date on the receipt was very close to the day I received the monitor [give or take 1 day either side - can't remember] but it is pretty fair so it should give you plenty of time to send in the cashback details :)
Quality of the monitor - it's beautiful! No complaints here whatsoever [but then again, I'm pretty easy going]
One thing I have to say, the quality of the speakers is terrible lol. I hope you don't expect much from them, because even a low expectation wouldn't be met very well haha.
Still, for the monitor picture itself, beautiful! Big, bright, and heavy blacks.

And did you have to send a email to ask for the receipt or the receipt came with the monitor?
Did the receipt work well? Have you successfully applied for the cashback? Somebody complained that applying for cashback needs the ABN number which was not provided by PricesEngine.

@melodyrain: It took about 7 days from the time I clicked BUY. The reason I can't say for sure how long it took is because I wasn't home a few days so I missed the delivery, and I forgot when I purchased it lol.
I have a VERIFIED paypal account. PricesEngine sent me emails keeping me up to date on the status of the delivery. PricesEngine emailed me the invoice without me having to ask for it [I'm guessing it would be part of the automated process, if that makes sense]. The Acer cashback part is pretty easy. You need to send in a copy of the invoice [which you can print], a printed copy of the claim form [printed from the Acer site above], and the cutout of the serial number section which came on the box [photocopies or printouts aren't accepted]. They don't need an ABN, just a name and mailing address, and they'd like to know the name and location of where you bought the screen [available on the invoice].
It's really straightforward, you can do it in 5 minutes after you receive your screen :)
I bought acer before, just wanna share. the cash back normally takes around 1-3 months, i got mine for around 6 weeks after they receive my receipt, and they will send you a bank cheque and you need to deposited to your bank account within certain time.
Hmm I think the previous deal for a 23" LG LED was much better ($ 199 including the delivery cost), but this is still a good deal nonetheless
