Was walking through Kmart at The Pines in Doncaster East this evening and saw these bargains.
Has Star Wars & Barbie cups, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle lunch boxes and money tins, as well as a wide selection of Christmas Candy cane, all for 5 cents each. The kids stuff is filled with marshmallows to boot. The normal price varied from $2 up to $8.
I walked out with 2 bags full of goodies for only 45 cents. Be quick as I can't imagine they'll last long.
Reminds me of my Kmart Xmas tinsel for nine packets for 45 cents. 54m worth of the stuff. Gotta love Kmart !
Yes, when they have too much of something, they price it to blow out the door. Four years ago I entered a branch just as they were putting up the 10c signs. I scored about 80 Cadbury Little Wishes 31g chocolate stars, at least 60 Lily O'Brien's mini-boxes of chocolates and 3 years' worth of excellent paper napkins (I still wish I bought more of those). The previous year, there were 1kg boxes of Belgian chocolates for $4. It was a hot day, but I brought several to the car park, unwrapped them and filled a large Thermos cooler box with Belgian chocolates for about $30!
Well done mate now that is epic! Diabetes needs taken care of for the next 30 years :p
