    —— Update ——
From the manual below, looks like you may be able to …

    3-4-1-3 AP Bridge-Point to Point
In this mode, you can use this broadband router as a wireless network
bridge and let all computers connected to the LAN ports of both wireless
access points to communicate with each other. This mode supports only
    one wireless access point peer.

    • I can confirm it works as an AP and AP Client.

Get The Latest Firmware From: http://www.edimax.com/tw/support_detail.php?pl1_idSelect=sup…
      * when the firmware upgrade occurred for me, there was no progress bar or indication when completed, so I left it for about an hour then reset the power and the upgrade completed successfully.

What I can not confirm is the 150Mbps. (or 75Mbps for that matter)

      • Speed test:

Laptop 7 starter (Using LAN Speed Test Software) to Desktop XP(RAM Drive)
(File Transfer Test) Distance is ~12 meters & 2 walls
        Write 84.93MBit Read 83.32Mbit 1Gbit switch (100Mbit laptop, 1GBit Desktop) Baseline
Write 86.32MBit Read 83.45Mbit Router to GB switch (100Mbit laptop, 1GBit Desktop)
Write 78.53MBit Read 65.97Mbit (40MHz) Router AP WiFi - Router WiFi Client to GB switch
Write 44.53MBit Read 39.05Mbit (20MHz) Router AP WiFi - Router WiFi Client to GB switch
        Write 13.14MBit Read 15.56Mbit Laptop WiFi 802.11g to AP 802.11n - etc

AP was on Ch 13, there might be interference with the 40MHz test (Extension channel) because a neighbor is using Ch 6.

From these results I can not see that there is a 150Mbit link. I think it is more of a 54Mbit link or 108Mbit (20MHz or 40MHz ch)

        Wireless Modes are:
        AP
        Station-Infrastructure
        AP Bridge-Point to Point
        AP Bridge-Point to Multi-Point
        AP Bridge-WDS
        Universal Repeater

These will not connect to WiFi Ad hoc network.

  • Ordered on Wed and arrived this morning (Friday).
    Just installed and works fine.
Also ordered Edimax 7318USG wireless adapter with $12 also free shipping.

  • Hmm I just got one last week. Arrived and all seems to be working great but I have one quick question, is the WLAN light on the unit supposed to be flashing constantly? I have nothing accessing the wireless and have WPS mode disabled but it still continues to flash. Doesn't that indicate that there is data being transferred or is it just something that is that way by default. (the manual makes no mention of the WLAN light flashing)
