It's just a normal week in QLD
Don't know if this is normal in QLD but went to Harbour Town and saw the prices of fruit there, unbelievable. White nectarines $6/box (probably 5kg), cherries $25/5kg box, seedless watermelon $3 each (all sizes, probably at least 5kg ea). Bought the cherries and nectarines but didn't have space for the watermelon (we were on a trip to GC from NSW). Strawberries I think were also about $6 for about 6-8 punnets.
This was late last week btw. All fruit were firm and not over ripe.

Dropped in on the weekend, pretty big shop but missing the busy vibe, only one cashier in the shop. the fruits seem like have been there for a while. A bit disappointed.
Bellas down the road is selling whole seedless watermelon for 48c a kilo, $8 a kilo for cherries, 2x500g punnet strawberries for $3. Also the fruit shop in Garden city opposite to Woolies reopened after a reno, is quite cheap as well and they sell by the box as well.
