Best Logitech 2.1 Speakers?

Hi ozbargainers!
I'm not a huge audiophile, but i have had experience using logitech speakers over the years and have been happy with its durability and quality.
Based on the 2.1ch range available, what would you say is the best relative to sound quality and bang for the buck?

Some noteworthy ones include z623 (THX Certified), z533 and so forth.

For usage, i will generally be using it primarily for music and movies on pc. No particular budget if quality justified

Please share your experiences! Thanks

  • I used to use Logitech's too (X-530). Just buy whatever if you're happy with them.

I switched to an amp and pair of bookshelf speakers (secondhand Jensen's), much better sound.

Worst speakers I've ever heard are Phillips.

  • Are you just plugging them into a computer, or do you need more inputs for home theatre equipment?

    • Mainly desktop/laptop usage

      • Cool, that simplifies things a lot.

The question is also a little bit specials dependent; for instance, in the past I've used some cheapies like the z313 I've picked up off OzB deals for ~$20, and been really happy with the results at that price point…however, at the regular price of ~$50-60 you wouldn't be so pleased.

In the case that you can't find the low end ones on the cheap, IMHO you'd be better throwing that money towards something like the z623 or even the z906 (which IIRC was posted as a deal earlier today) at a pretty good price. Thanks for that!
After reading through multiple review, despite some issues in mid to high frequency in terms of weak treble
Seems like the z623 is the way to go

I've seen the z623 go for as cheap as $97 on the previous bing lee deal last week..should have got it then Lol

        • @yellowmamba: Malouphix has you covered with a decent price below…when it comes to Gummydude though, I'd pay the bit extra & go the ebay option…at least then you'll have ebay/paypal protection if they pull any of their usual shenanigans!

Best of luck with it, you've certainly got options…even the Z333's on the front page for ~$50 look fine! [edit] Actually, they're $42.51 delivered: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/287499 :)

    Z623 is the best :)

    • I agree, but rarely goes on sale for a price I find worthy enough. Around the $100 mark is still pretty expensive for speakers.

Expensive ? Lucky if you can get it for $100, lol

          Yeps. Z623 if you're Mr. Moneybags. Z533 if you're on a budget.

      I agree - I have a pair and they're fantastic.

  • Z623 i paid $150 in 2012 and they still work and they are just as expensive today.

  • Z623
    Excellent set.
I managed to snag for around $100 when DSE had B&M stores.

    • Bear in mind, Gamedude are notorious for bait & switch…been stung by them before with a huge shitfight to get my refund…there's very few companies I utterly refuse to deal with, they are top on the list.

Use their price for a pricematch elsewhere though!!! ;)

I've had good experiences with them. I'm sorry you haven't.

That is a damn good price though…

      • I agree, scum of the earth…just read the reviews on productreview.com.au! I work for a large listed computer company and Game Dude are considered a joke i the industry…every company I speak with that knows of them stays away and those that don't I warn!
