        I appreciate the effort from everyone who takes the effort to post good deals, especially if they are easy to understand. It's really a great community. However, it seems that supermarket deals change in format quite often. Does OzBargain just reward the first to post? Could we have a better system for consistent deals? If someone is dedicated to post deals consistently, could we give them the best opportunity to do so?

        I'm not really sure how it all works, so I'm happy to be corrected about any of this.

          Depends on several factors,
          1. Is the delivery reliable and on time? Mine gets delivered, if it gets delivered usually on Monday the earliest and most of the time, Tuesday or after it started.
          2. If 1 is reliable and on time that would require of whoever takes that task to do it regardless of other commitments and you might start complaining, hey xxxx didn't post ww/coles deal at this time when they usually do and now I can't make my shopping list.

          1. I'd say first in, first served. Whoever gets it first and finds the time, let them post it.

          2. I don't care much about last known price as It's not like I am going to wait when it is again the same or lower price. If I need it then I buy it, and if I don't need it then it will be decided on case by case basis whether I will buy it now or wait. While knowing the last known price is nice, (I won't say handy), it doesn't tell you when and if ever it will be at that price again. And it can get you down especially if it's something like chocolate you were buying for x amount, but is dearer now and you get less.

          3. And last but not the least, let people write the way they do. Some are more comfortable in using computers than others, and someone might be lazy too :) As long as we get them, that's all that matters. It's not hard to go through the list unlike some of the posts before where you had a huge list of items.

          @bargainparker: Thanks for the reply. It's not just about last known price, the formatting on this post is great but I've seen some that have poor formatting. It can disadvantage posters who put time into their post as 'first in best dressed'. Could have a deal where if x poster doesn't post by x date that first in best dressed for the next day. Considering supermarket specials for WW are on a Wednesday, if a deal isn't posted on Monday, Tuesday still gives plenty of time before you can purchase deals anyway.

          it could or could not work. What is poster x who usually posts, didn't post by x date and someone else sees it, starts making the list and then posts it just to be greeted with "this post is deleted, duplicate, because the dedicated poster x, or someone else did it just now.

          Maybe better solution would be, since those deals are common that if someone takes upon themselves to do those deals but are unable to, to have a feature where whoever is able to do it next, marks a box I'm making deal for ww/coles and it will be up in x amount of time. That way others wouldn't waste time doing it especially considering that those deals are repeated every week. Sure it would be the best to have someone who would always post those deals, but that's not always possible.

    Nivea Range isn't half price. Only select items like deodorant. Some other products are 20% off, but definitely not 50% off the entire range.
