Following on from this deal - Original 20% off at Selected Stores on eBay Deal Post

I came across some good valued Air Mattresses! I find the twin size to be far better than the single size air mattress, especially for adults!

If you order 2 they take 5% off the 2nd one, bringing the price down even further. They say the retail price is $89 (crazy price!) and is on sale for $29.90. Take a further 20% off with the code - COMMIT20 with Free Delivery makes this a great buy imo.

No inbuilt pump, but ALDI has the single size currently for 10 bucks.

    • "Build-in foot pump that inflates bed quickly"

      • +1

I believe bigspike was referring to the ALDI version not having the built in pump..

        • +2

The Aldi deal was a Special Buy that started on the 28th December so you'd be pretty lucky to find any stock around now.

        • -1

The single bed has a pump

        • -1

@djbst: Sorry, but you're wrong. I've just looked at what you claim to be "the same" and it's not. No pump.

        • @Tuhan: I have it with me. How can you say that it does not have a pump?

  • -6

Both Kmart and Aldi have similar sizes for $10+

    http://www.kmart.com.au/product/flocked-air-mattress---king-…

    • +2

That's $15 + $3 for click and collect (extra $10 for metro delivery and $14 for regional) and it doesn't have the added foot pump and inflatable head area… Doesn't compare imo… I'd still choose this one over the Kmart one anyday!

  • +1

ehhh im not gonna neg but yeah you can get a Queen from HN @ $24.
    http://www.harveynorman.com.au/intex-classic-downy-air-bed.h…

I can't compare quality wise.. but theyre dreaming thinking anyone would pay RRP of $89 lel

    • Totally agree about the RRP! That is just insane!

However, the HN one would still require delivery if you don't live near one and for some ppl, the Single size is too small (especially for adults). The Twin size is much more 'user-friendly' imo. Still think my one is better value for money..

      • I agree, purchasing online with free delivery is always a +.
But the counter argument to that is C&C is a lot faster than waiting for delivery for those that do live near a store.

What exactly is "twin size"? Is that a double bed?
My link you can actually change size to Queen and the price adjusts on the page.

But yeah I don't think this deal is particulary bad, I just don't think its unbelievable.

        • agreed - my closest HN is 45mins away and I'm considered Metro lol.. For people who live rural who don't have access to a HN, ALDi, Kmart etc. This is a pretty good deal, not unbelievable, agreed. However, we are not really comparing apples with apples here.

I don't know off the top of my head what the exact dimensions are for all the different sizes, I do know that they are not your standard mattress sizes though. Air mattresses are much smaller in comparison.

    • +2

HN doesnt have a built in pump either.

    • I don't think C&C option is available and $18 shipping fee is a killer.

  • +2

I should point out for those who don't know - the single size air mattress is not the same size as a Standard Single Mattress. The twin size is closest to a single mattress size and more appropriate for all ages..

  • +2

The Bestway one in the link is great for when you actually go camping. Bought one before and will buy another one.
It saves having to bring a hand pump or electric one and connect it up to somewhere for power…

Regarding the size, I previously looked into what is Single, Double, Queen… and even though google shows what a standard one 'should be', there's no requirement by the manufacture to need to reach a certain size to be able to call it a Single/Double/Queen!
I've found out the best option is just to take what size is shown on the website rather than rely on the Single/Double/Queen word…

Thanks for this, needed two of these next month, trigger pulled, done.

I'm pretty sure I bought the same thing for Aldi for way less

    • -1

Any link/proof? I'd be keen to know if you can get it for less, but as has been explained the ones sold at these stores are not the same..

      • -1

Here you go: http://imgur.com/a/65nDP. It was less then $10

      • -1

        The double mattress was 16.99

        • +1

Again - not the same as originally pointed out. Doesn't have the inbuilt pump. Isn't the same sizing. Doesn't have free delivery… Neg all you like but i don't think it's warranted here. I asked for proof of the same. You claimed to have "bought the same" for $10.. Clearly it wasn't.

        • -1

@Tuhan: You can deny all you want, but it has a pump. If you are emotionally attached to this, I'll stop commenting. Have a good day!

        • @djbst: haha - no emotional attachment and happy to be proven wrong however, the links you have posted do not include an inbuilt pump? I have no idea what you have but I can only go on what you have posted, which doesn't have an inbuilt pump, not the same size and no free delivery. But all good. You enjoy your day too.

Is this a waterbed or airbed? Features description says - Built to Stand up to 40°C Water Temperature, Digital Control Panel, Lay-Z Massage System, Water Filtration System, Rapid Heating System, Quick Inflate With Spa Pump, Temperature Adjustment, 3-Layer Leatheroid Reinforced Wall, Quick Drain System

      • I noticed but everything else indicates that it's the double size version of the posted deal.

  • +2

I've got a double. The inbuilt foot pump gives me a good work out because it takes so long to inflate

  • I used this bed to sleep in my office for three months when I was writting my thesis lol.
