this is the superior towel, but they are never on sale anymore.

  • Rather go with this one for $33.96 delivered.

Comes to $20 with COMMIT20 code

    • Promo code "COMMIT20" is not valid.

Boo. Any others you know of?

      • Sorry should have been clearer - the code is for the eBay links at the bottom of OP's post.

…or just go to kmart and get one for $4, albeit smaller 120cm x 60cm http://bit.ly/2j7DBiu

    • Agreed.
I got this from AliExpress, and to be frank, I couldn't justify spending $35 on the "premium" one, whatever that means.

I got one of these in the medium size for about $10 three years ago (it was a hard to sell colour apparently?). I used it as my only towel for 8 months while backpacking, and always take it on trips. It's still in fantastic condition.

  • I bought 10 of these of here years ago. Bloody fantastic!!

  • I have the XL one in army green. Great towel. Had it for about 3 years now and it gets regular use. Still perfect.

This towel is carp. Very uncomfortable, and the price is not good either. We bought over $100 worth of these towels years ago at a real bargain price which was much lower than $25. The "premium" version us much better but the price is even worse.

    Kathmandu is just a joke.

      Sounds fishy to me.

    • Yes I picked some up for what I remember was 3 for 11 bucks? Could have been a different towel but was posted for anyone who wants to go forensic on it

I suspect you can buy this in-store for the same price and save on the $10 postage.

At least it worked for me when I bought a clearance/sale item from Kathmandu recently.

  • I bought one of these a few years back and even today I carry it with me in my gym bag. Easy to carry, compact, dries very quickly. I strongly recommend getting one. Normal towels are too heavy and soak in a lot of water this is quick dry material and gets the job done.

  • I might buy one of these. I threw out my last towel because it got high.
