  Is blitz like a mode or just the name of the beta? I never played the first wars game on account of still being on ps2 gen stuff, so like, in short, is this worth downloading or?

    I think it's the focus of this particular beta. It's a new feature that wasn't in the first game, and combines a card-based element into the RTS strategy. Haven't had a chance to try it out yet though.

    Edit: Yup, it's locked to Blitz mode for this beta, but my first experiences with the mode are enough to make me consider a pre-order. There's some fun to be had if you like RTS games.

  I want to get this game but they are asking $100 for base game or $120 for the ultimate edition. PC gamers dont normally pay this much for a game. I normally get them for around $60 when they are pre-order. For those of you that have used Mighty Ape before, they have the game for $70 and ultimate edition for $90. I'ld be willing to pay this price but have heard mixed report about Mighty Ape…
