          Unfortunately there are no peripherals sold by Yoshop for this phone, just the handset.
          I'd recommend this link from Gearbest. They sell a wide range of screen protectors/covers for the Redmi.

    My Phone arrived today with 8.0.5.0.0 firmware. According to the Miui forums this firmware is vendor firmware and NOT official (see here: http://en.miui.com/thread-472947-1-1.html )
    I would recommend downloading the official global firmware and updating before you use your phone.

      I ordered mine on the 21st of Jan and it arrived on the 3rd of Feb (I only got to pick this up from Auspost on the 6th). Packaging was very good. The phone works fine using Amaysim (which uses the Optus 4G network). As I mentioned previously in this thread, I suggest you update the firmware of the phone as soon as you get it as the default phone ROM is an unofficial vendor ROM. One thing that is odd is that there is no ability to select 'Australia' as a region for the phone. As per the Miui forums, I set the region to 'Singapore' and everything works fine.           An additional step I had to do was unlock developer mode as follows: go to SETTINGS>ABOUT PHONE and tap 'miui label' 6 or 7 times (just like in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jg32xUH18GA )

          You can then access advanced USB settings and turn on "Developer options" and "USB Debugging" as explained here: http://xiaomiadvices.com/miui-7-enable-developer-options-and…

          For some reason I needed to do this to get MTP working on the phone and to move the official Global ROM from my PC to the Phone's internal memory.

          Also note that you must transfer the ROM as a .rar file (do not attempt to extract this file as it will not be recognised). Finally, once you have the Official ROM transferred to your phone, simply use the 'updater' app that is on the phone to select the ROM and install. This requires you to be connected via WLAN (wifi) so that the ROM can be verified. http://en.miui.com/a-232.html This will take around 10 minutes to flash.

          As a final warning, please ensure you have the 'Global ROM' and not the Chinese version. The latter can apparently brick your phone if you are not careful.

    I am really unhappy. I purchased on the 7th and up until today I don't have a tracking number and to make it worse I am also not able to log in to your website, I don't even get a error message, just click ok after typing my username and password and nothing happens. This was a gift that I am taking overseas in 5 days, if I don't get my phone I will ask for a refund.       I've had the same problem logging in.
      It only worked with my home computer and mobile device.
      Couldn't log in via work computer, I suspect it's making a call to some banned site.

    I think the whole 'select expedited shipping for delivery and get your phone within 1 week!' Was a bit deceptive.

    I too ordered on 4th February with expedited shipping and then radio silence, OP/rep did their best to follow up but I ran out of time and requested refund through PayPal yesterday and to their credit it was processed within a couple of hours.

        I understand there is processing time, which I can only assume is ordering from someone that has it in stock because you don't and then sending it to us.

        Processing time of 3-5 business days is totally unacceptable, same day or the next is what I would expect, as that is the standard for any company that on sells goods. Therefore as your first line reads "most orders can ship out within 24 hours" is what I took as what has occurred in this case, as it is only a small item.

        Taking your long lead times into account it should still have been delivered by now. I feel you are misleading customers indicating a 2-7 day delivery time if they pay extra for delivery.

        I also submitted a second ticket, and there has been no response.

        EDIT: Can't PM as it is a new account and currently I cannot login to retrieve my order #

          UPDATE: I received my phone yesterday afternoon. The phone is great, other than having to update the ROM to the official global Rom I am very happy with the product so far.

          As for delivery time, I still find it misleading and deceptive.

    Finally… phone arrived today. Ordered 21 January with expedited shipping. Arrived 15 Feb. Even allowing for Chinese New Year, 25 days is a bit more than the promised 3-7 working days.

    Just an update for everyone. I ordered on the 3rd and the phone hasn't been sent out yet. I have been in regular contact with YoShop through tickets. They initially said they would restock in 7-15 days. It will be 15 days from my order tomorrow and their last message in the tickets said it would take a "little longer time". I've gotten tired of this and have requested a refund, I'll order one from the big AliExpress sellers.

    Extremely disappointed with Xiaomi on this phone. The first 3 weeks of having the phone seemed great then the battery just stopped working. It was on about 30% charge then turned off in my hands and will not charge up. Will not buy another Xiaomi phone again.
