  • FYI only for comparison purposes: Save $30 (not inclusive referral bonus) on the EVGA from NewEgg (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/288891), but lose global warranty and slightly lower clock speeds.

  • i thought evga had global warranty. might need to send it back to US though

    • The EVGA black is the better card but I prefer amazon over newegg and there has been that debacle with the cards catching fire. EVGA does have global warranty, the gigabyte one doesnt.

  • Dam Dat good

  • Is this much of an upgrade over a 980TI?

    • +1

If you have a 980 ti, the upgrade will not be worth the money spent. Wait for the 1080 ti

      • Thanks for the reply, if you had to pick between either though?

        • +1

I would say if the difference is less than $100 get the 1070. If the 980 ti is more than $100 cheaper, get it as that would be the better value.

  • This one is almost as cheap as the MSY deal - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01JHQSZ5Y/ref=psdc_284822_t2_B01H…

    $557 incl shipping

    • Does The Rebate actually Applies, If so, how do you redeem it ?

      • It's US residents only.

        Rebate form

        • The address on your rebate application must match the billing address on the receipt, packing slip or invoice.
        • Offer only valid in the US (including Puerto Rico). Rebate Payable in US Dollars for US Residents.

        The takeaways here..

        • Name and billing address of application must match invoice.
        • Which means must use US address.
        • If you have Amazon deliver it to your AU address, your application will be denied because they will see you're not a US resident. They aren't going to send a prepaid Mastercard to an AU address.
        • You can get around this if you use a freight forwarder. But that will cost you more than the $20 rebate. You will have to pay the freight forwarder again to ship the Mastercard to you.
        • In other words, there's no point, unless you have a relative who can buy it for you and ship it to you, but it will likely cost them more to ship it than Amazon would charge you.
        • Thx for the info

  • how long is it gonna take for amazon to deliver my package? Any Estimation?

    • 1 week

      • Thanks for the info

    • Usually 10-14 days.

      • Thanks for the reply
