    Hi! I am interested in the B&D mpc2 remote on the eBay website selling 2 remote for $23.90. The single purchase from the remotepro website is at $17 each. However the 25% discount code was not valid at checkout. Is the code not applicable for eBay purchases?

    Most of these remotes are under $10 delivered on ebay.

    Last time I bought 3 for $21 delivered. And they even use the same photos!

      Thank you very much for your question. Unfortunately there is no remote that can do both. You must have a garage installer attach a receiver to one of your motors to match up with the other which will allow you to use one remote.       Most garage motors have a button you press, then you would press and hold the button on the remote to pair it with the motor. Or something similar along that.

          Yes, there is a code button (there should be a small hole). Best way is to snap a tooth pick to allow you to press the button inside. Press the code button once and press a button on the new remote twice.

    Looking to get a spare garage remote- model is ptx 5v1. What is the difference between genuine and compatible ones? Price difference is significant so would be inclined to go with the compatible one if there isn't a huge difference?

      Both come with the same warranty and operate in the same way. One is manufactured by ATA and the other is not. Both have the same warranty.
