30% off store wide in Repco this Sunday ONLY 5/2/17

I went to Repco today and they have this voucher on the table. You can go to your store and ask for one ;) You will need to present this voucher on Sunday 5/2 to get 30% off store wide. Some store may just give you the discount without voucher but better to get one now.

If you need a car battery, hold off until next Sunday 5/2, if you bought one, better return it. I have confirmed with the staff and car batteries are included. He did a dummy checkout to see the price so that makes me wonder if you really need to wait until Sunday to get this price. It seems they have a special code to enter to bring the price down.

Exclusion: 30% off sale excludes current catalogue and discounted lines, transmissions, engines & cylinder heads, satellite navigation, gift cards, combo deals and trade purchase.

Mod: There is no extra 5% off

    Extra 5% off means, it would be 33.5%. Not 35%

      Sorry wrong math, shame on me :) fixed it now. Actually if you are professional level 2 then it is actually 35.495% off at least and if you are level 3 then it should be even higher.
      If you can even combine all the dipping you can take it to even the next level and effective rate is even higher.

        Of course there is no extra 5% off from Repco. It is the extra discount if you have got the Chicken $88 EFTPOS card from the WW deal or 5.25 if you got it using the CR deal + WW $88 EFTPOS deal.

    My local Repco refused to honour the 30% off on batteries. The bloke said to me "batteries are excluded, it says that on the bottom of the voucher". When I pointed out that the voucher does not say that he still wouldn't budge. The one I was after was full rrp, wasn't a catalogue or discounted line. Met the criteria from what I could tell. The battery shelves were full and it was clear I wasn't the only customer he'd knocked back.

    So I've negged the "deal", no disrespect intended to the OP, and won't shop at that store again.

      Staff at the Repco store I picked up the voucher even tried to make a dummy checkout on battery to confirm the discount works, so the discount should work in their system, just that bad one. You should take it up with Repco HQ, but it should be easier to tried another store than arguing with these stone-head

      I got a battery and got the 30% off. Suggest you get more argumentative. It would have been easy to show the voucher did NOT say that and insist they speak to a manager, then head office if that fails. Then the customer is always right, make a fuss, its false advertising otherwise…99% of the time you will get what you want.

      I spoke to two staff, both said the vouchers often exclude batteries but said they would check and then said it was fine.

      They even said if something was on sale for less than 30% they would give the greater discount. I would go back now, inform them you are recording the conversation, and demand it for the correct price. Save their poor customer service to a recording app on your phone, play it to HQ.
