Do you know when you will have the "Seagate Momentus XT 500GB 2.5" 7200RPM 32MB SATA" in stock?

    Thanks

  • not a bad bargain if can have internet order but pickup instore option…

  • what's the difference between this and the other WD 2.5 inch drive ; WD My Passport Essential / My Passport Elite .

Is this one better or worse then those?

  • Has anyone out there split this external drive this and used in a laptop ?

    • Wd portable 2.5 drives have the USB as a part of the main board. So no. I used a seagate for my xbox360 from mln last time

  • Best price I have seen around a 500gb 2.5" external.

ends up being $80 delivered to brisbane thanks to cc surcharge as well.

edit - you have to do a credit card authorization as well if paying by cc which involves sending them documents to prove your id. Seems above board but too much trouble, canceled my order.

  • I'll vote + because the last time the MLN Seagate 500Gb deal came up at roughly this price, Ozbargain went crazy. I got mine then.

The pick up in store option says you need to contact the store - will they be able to offer the same price or do you have to order it online and pay the postage? In which case it isn't available to buy at $69.

Shipping cost plus CC effort/cost does not seem worth the effort

  • How much warranty it comes with? How is the review of this HDD?

    • Elements drive are 2 years warranty

  • Can we get a deal on the samsung s2 500gb next please?!

  • Briggles - put through an order for S2 and I will match the WD offer just for you, msg me your details.

    • Hi Can't you do that for me as well?
      Many thanks.

Is an EVGA GT210 512Mb for $34 of any interest to you guys and gals? I will look into Seagate XT's but stocks are tight on that model so its unlikely any large quantities can be gathered for amazing pricing at this point. @Jeron - I'm out of stocks/marketing $ here for that one sorry.

    • Would you be able to arrange a store pick up for the 500GB $69 deal?

  • Barely any of these left and expires in a few hours, if you want it be quick :) We can't post more than one time a day here (fair enough too!) but we have a very cheap router on the go too - the info is around, I don't know what the "policy" is here for posting extras inside threads, don't want to upset the admins :)

    • what is the offer on routers? and when are you going to put it up?

    • I assume the answer to the question you've ignored twice now is no then?

  • @immumo, maybe tomorrow, theres posting restrictions here for reps (time etc).
@callum9999, EDIT: Can you drop me a line at [email protected] :)

  • oops.. :)

    • Hi just wondering whether you can do the same deal for the Samsung S2 500GB as per above post? Let me know! Thanks!

  • Bought this cos I've been wanting some extra storage..and since I've already got 3 internal HDs, it seems perfect. Too bad it only works out to be -$9 cos of postage, but still a good price I think :p

Should be good to have some portable storage for a change :)

  • Made an order online at 6AM 12th aug, payment thru bank transfer on paypal, all nice and easy, even though $9 charge per hard drive for postage (i bought 2 of these). Email received the next day confirming payment received, was happy with the service w efficient communication, but since then, this is still saying "reserved" (which means "This item is in stock and held for your order, it will leave as soon as possible" as per their indication), just not very sure how long it would take before it is depatched … BUT overal, love their website and the "order history" function, it is the best informative online shopping site i have ever used so far, if parcels arrive safe (im sure they will) surely i will be a repeat customer~ p.s im online-shopping-holic~
