  • looks like a great bargain to me !

  • Victoria only

PS. I'm in brisbane, just wonder what that magazine is.

    • -2

True. They should just say it's only available online to Victoria up front.
Why waste peoples time filling out the form and allowing non-eligible states to be selected?
      Good bargain for Vic, though

      • +1

Or you could read the T&C's both on this posting and on the offer web page before you enter all your details… "Offer valid only in Victoria where normal home delivery exists."

  • Great Deal! thats 25 cents a day!

  • "First post, be brutal." - I love it!

    • +6

      +1 for the first sentence!

Noticing a severe lack of compliance among ozbargainers. They say be nice, you are brutal. They say be brutal, you are nice. Get yourselves together people.

        • reverse psychology how does it work??

  • FYI, i subscribe the AGE through last Dymocks promotions, same prices as this one, but usually I only receive one newspaper per week, not four as told, some times none, I called the AGE three times, after the calling I get normal delievery, but after one or two weeks, the problme start again, I am tired of calling the subscription department now. So before you subscribe this, conside the delivery quality in your area.

    • +2

or keep an eye on your neighbours ;-)

    • Same here i got on the Dymocks one last time its a ripper deal. About 3 months in now. Haven't had any probs personally been getting all four days delivered. My only issue was at the start it took a few weeks to come, but a quick call to the Age sorted that out and delivered within 2 business days. agree with Daydream, Might be worth getting up early to spot the dog walker flogging your paper! ;)

    • Rather than call, just email something like this "Hi I didnt receive my paper on xxx. Can you please add a delivery to my subscription. Let me know. thanks" . when i do it they email me back that my subscription has been extended one delivery.

I must admit though, i stopped sending the emails after the first 5 times. and ive missed way more than that. I think its the locals that just help themselves, rather than my neighbour.

  • Not to be a dick or anything, but if you went to uni it would cost you $30 for the whole year haha. =)
Good bargain for those not able to qualify the uni deal.

    • +1

Unless its changed the uni deal is pickup only isn't it?

      • +2

The uni deal is pickup only Monday - Friday, delivered Saturday and Sunday.
Also, over the summer holidays, it is delivered every day :)

edit: Gotta love this: "First post, be brutal."

        • what? really?! i didn't get any deliveries over the summer holidays :(

          • @uraha: Actually.. maybe not on the summer holidays! That may just be the Herald Sun

            • -1

@Adamiam: Yeah but who wants to be cleaning the Herald Scum off their porch every morning, even if it's free?

    • I just need a cheap bargain to qualify as a student to get your benefits! ;-)

  • Thankyou very much for this post… What a bargain, just subscribed and very happy with the 25 cents a day for a home delivered Age, especially as the Thu-Sun editions have all the good liftouts like the Green Guide & weekend magazines..Good job on your first post he3at !!

    • +1

green guide is the best section IMO

  • +1

It says under the terms and conditions:
The Age reserves the right to verify membership status. Subscription will be invalid if the applicant is proven not to be a current member and with pro-rata refund of any payment processed, less an administrative fee of $10.

So technically you could end up with $10 out-of-pocket if you aren't a Domain subscriber and they start cross-checking addresses in their database because of overwhelming demands generated via this posting. c.f. in the Monopoly game "Pay $10 or take a Chance".

  • duplicate entry deleted.

  • +2

I'll be as brutal as brutal can be.

    TAKE THAT +VE!!! ATTACK

  • +4

good deal. I signed up on the Dymocks thing 4-6 months ago. For the first few weeks they stuffed up and delivered 7 days a week; was a bit sad when they finally got their act together.

  • Fab find. Thanks!

  • GOOOOOOOD ON YAAAAA! Cheers for the post Just subscribed.
