  Hi JepunK,

  This is a heavy surf fishing rod. Will land you nicely any Kings, Mulloways or even big Tuna. These rods generally do not show the line rating, but more casting weight. For 100-200g casting weight, in its class you would expect 20lbs+ lines to work, and corresponding high capacity reels.

    I've passed it on to a mate…who's looking for a surf rod, nice looking rod btw..

    I'd say this is more for a general surf use…a big tuna will destroy this I'm afraid

    glad to see an Aussie retailer stocking European fishing rods

      I might be wrong about the big tuna, don't know ( certainly not thinking about barrel tuna..).
