  • Perth has no 50% off restaurants.

    • My tip would be to put the Perth link in your bookmarks and keep checking daily. More offers could be added closer to the date.

  • So I assume drinks are included with this offer unlike the last deal?

    • Some deals state "50% off food." in this case its obviously food only. Some other offers state "40% off the bill." This is a promo that applies to the whole bill, inc. food.

      • Sorry yeah I forgot to mention I was referring to the 'off the bill' promos. Thanks for the info

    Indian only in Sydney

      That's racist

      • +1

Man some people can't take a joke, im pretty sure "that's racist" in a South African accent is an acceptable joke…

Except for the South African accent, as that's raacist.

Darbar is actually pretty fantastic Indian. I really recommend the place.

Anyone wanna come to indian for valentimes with me?

      • +2

        Darbar Fine Indian Cuisine -
        "50% Off Your Main Course
Discount applies your main course only, not starters, desserts, drinks or alcoholic beverages. Not valid with another offer."

        No deal for me.

        • Drink a long neck in the park beforehabd. Winning!

Brisbane offerings are mediocre at best, obviously struggling restaurants of assorted cuisines in random parts of town. It is Valentines though, so I don't expect the good ones to be on special.

As mentioned to nurries, my tip would be to put the Brisbane Link in your bookmarks and keep checking. More offers could be added closer to the date.

Thanks for sharing! We've been meaning to try Kuku Mama. 50% off food. - This seems to be a Cheap Tuesday deal that they seem to do through dimmi?

    • You're welcome.

A lot of restaurants seem to have mid week Dimmi deals, but if you look at the date ranges you'll see there are a number of additional offers specifically for this Valentine's Day promotion.

If you make a booking through Dimmi all you need to do is register your booking, keep all email correspondence and simply tell the waiter at the end of your dinner something along the lines of "This was a booking through Dimmi where there is XYZ off the bill".

From my experience you don't have to tell them at the start of the night, so when you've finished your meal you can say to your partner "(⌐■■) I'll go and pay the bill now." Then go to the counter and the other diner will be oblivious to your discount! You can used this saved money to buy some roses for them. Winning. ᕦ(òóˇ)ᕤ

But is it really love if he/she doesn't see the planning and romance that goes into bargain hunting and scoring 50% off?

        • YMMV.

      • +2

Or you say "Let's split the bill 50/50. Give me your cash and I'll pay the rest at the counter."

        • Ruthless.

      • Personally I'd be impressed if he was as much of a bargain hunter as I :P As long as he isn't cheap.

  • Thanks OP. Booked for 'two' and hoping they will just accept my 'invisible friend' as a real person in order to redeem the offer.

    • You're welcome. Generally the offer can only be redeemed if 2 courses are purchased (so keep that in mind).

  • As per past experience with Dimmi (last month), will this list change everyday until Valentine's Day?

    • Perhaps. As mentioned in other comments - check your relevant city page daily for updates to the list of offers.

    Horrible offering for Sydney restaurants

    • +1

Great offerings however if you wish to impress your date with a cheap Indian restaurant - I suspect demand is low for these venues on Valentines Day!

  • +2

Bad business name. I just keep thinking of dimmys discounters :)

    • They're trying their best to forge a path.

So many top 5 star fine dinning restaurants in Sydney, darling harbour and circular quay, and top rated on urban spoon, gonna be fully boooked everywhere by ozbaraginers!

  • lol at the Brisbane restaurant line-up. I guess no premium places are going to give Valentine's day specials, but still…

  • Hi I'm from Brisbane, want to go somewhere romantic with wifu with reasonable price for valentine day. Can you guy suggest some place ?
