China Airlines despite its name is actually not from China. Based in Taiwan, it’s a full service airline and is part of the SkyTeam alliance. It flies between Sydney and Christchurch on Sunday, Tuesday and Fridays with the A330-300.

What are they?
Interestingly, China Airlines are not a particularly safe carrier, suffering four fatal accidents between 1994 & 2002. However not that unsafe that I wouldn't fly with them.
2002 is some time ago. Their safety has improved considerably since then.
Good price for full service but for a short flight to NZ Jetstar is a similar price most of the time
