BOXING2016

Was looking for a French Press and found this one marked down to $15. On top of that there is still a coupon code of Boxing2016 somehow still on the site and working taking a further 15% off. Just buying 1 is a total of $20.70 shipped but I ended up buying 2 plus this coffee grinder which is $34.95. Total for the 2 french presses and the grinder was $68.40 shipped. The Boxing2016 coupon didn't work on the grinder.

Closest price I could see for this french press is $39.95 from David Jones.

I used to love these but then i discovered Aeropress and coffee was a lot cleaner and smoother. Still good price though.

  • I recently got the 3 cup bodum plunger online and when I got here I almost spat my skinny flat white over my morning newspaper. It barely holds one cup.

    • You are probably drinking long blacks

  • I've got one of these which I use for making iced coffee. It's definitely worth it at this price, I'm tempted to buy a second one just for the hell of it.

    For reference, a 3-cup holds 350mL, 4-cup 500mL, 8-cup 1L, 12-cup 1.5L.

So it's like buying a tent?

      • Yes, apparently a cup of coffee is 125ml…

        bodum-tish!

  • Awesome post.

I was looking at this item for $59.95 earlier this week. Funny enough I also use an Aeropress, but when I'm out camping or whatever I like to use a french press for frothing the milk, 1 litre fits the bill nicely.

    • Or for large number of guests

  • Thanks op the microplate stuff is great value

  • Postage from these guys was so fast. I received the item within 3 business hours! (weekend aside…)
