Wow, great price… so tempting.
This has to be a mistake on officeworks behalf. I am looking at their Back to work catalogue right now and the same WD 2TB external hard drive is $769. The 1TB is $469. But hey - its not our fault that they can't price correctly.
It has been confirmed to be a "Online Only" special…. or something. Also, if you plan to buy some to get rid of cheap on eBay… looks like someone has already had that idea and selling them at very close to this price.

actually it wasnt pinched at all, one of my colleages at work emailed me with it, where he got it from, no idea and dont really care, sort of defeats the purpose of having this site if people are going to get narky when they find it elsewhere doesnt it…
In that case sorry I might need to remove my edit. It is always a good idea to acknowledge the source anyway if you got it from a 3rd part source, i.e. not directly from the merchant.

For those who ordered this on the internet. I received my coffee cups today with note the drives (2) are on back order. So thats a confirmation that they are at least honouring my order and I would sugges, others that were placed before they withdrew the price off the website.
I received my HDD package yesterday. I wrote them an email becasue I forgot to include the coffee cups. They said that's fine and are sending my cups next week :)
the drives arrived - thanks eros-villas nice savings - now to find stuff to fill it !! It will take me 10 years or more the rate I collect stuff!!
