Extra 10% off All Hotels @ Amoma.com

130
AMO3001

Just used this code to stack a 10% discount on top of the best price for a hotel found on Amoma via Hotels Combined.

Seems that you need to visit the given URL and then that enables the coupon code. Once you've loaded the URL once, the Amoma homepage changes, enabling the 'sale' and will now show "Save an Extra 10% on all Hotels". I tried using the code without this and it is rejected.

Originally posted on Amoma's Twitter account (original post). The referrer in the URL come from their Twitter account and is needed to enable the deal (it isn't mine).

No discernible terms and conditions or expiry date, but the wording says "all hotels".

I used this code the other day for a NH collection hotel (which is excluded from the discount codes other sites have on offer at the moment).
With that said, I made my booking 3 days ago, and have just sent an email to the hotel to confirm the reservation (i am reading hit and miss reviews about Amoma) the email they gave me on the confirmation was incorrect (might be an old one) however i got the correct one via their the hotels website)

So I can vouch is works for hotels not bookable via coupons on other sites.

Will update once I have my confirmation.

I have another resort i need to book, and with this coupon can get it for a massive discount from the original resort price, but am holding off until i get confirmation the other went through.

edit 1: Just got a call from Amoma reservations who noticed I searched for the resort (i am signed into my account), then said "someone just cancelled their reservation, and I can get mine cheaper (which worked out $10 more than when I applied the discount code) he also saw i tried with a code, and said he would see if he could match it (came back could get extra 5% off) worked out being $140 cheaper than if i applied the code (11 night booking).

The whole "someone just cancelled" has me spooked, sounds like what a scammer would put to you.
he did advise that it would come with free cancellation until April (see that it is showing $60 cancellation fee up to april in their confirmation email), and that I can secure it with a deposit.
they sent an email with the link that took it to the cheaper price, and on payment screen applied the code (which was the extra 5%) i have secured it with a deposit.
Will wait to hear back from the NH hotel before I make full payment and will keep you updated

  • Update: Have confirmed with NH hotel that they have the booking and payment.
Next step is to pay the balance for my resort.

Will keep updating (possibly the results after my trip in May), as searching Amoma sees WAY too many negative experiences since they have opened to the point that most say to avoid them at all costs (nb. I saw these AFTER I made my NH booking haha, oops) I have seen many positives though, but usually from 1 time posters on those sites, so am not sure if they are Amoma reps or actual people. this is a gamble I am taking to 1. Save some serious dollars on my trip (fingers crossed, without incident)and 2. to share an honest experience with fellow OB's.

  • Good Luck.

  • It's AMO1302 now.

    • …and now AMO1303. I'm sensing a pattern. At least the URL is the same to trigger the "sale".
