    Nah. IHG points uses dynamic pricing so I've found that the cost of buying points is roughly similar to the cost of paying cash for that room.

    0.5c US per point is fair value.

    It's a great deal for those with US issued IHG cards as you get 4th night free on award stays and 10% points back with each redemption.
