Inspired by the Mushtato post re 10,000mah quick charge both ways $28.95, this one double capacity but less than double price of that 10,000 albeit grey import of course.
if you need big power and qc 3 and dual usb and have patience to wait for shipping, then get this.

dont forget cash rewards
dont get confused with older model sold $10 cheaper elsewhere.
yes this is not a cheap power bank but to recharge 20k mah i think quick charge is necessary, i dont want to charge powerbanks overnight without supervision while everyone asleep.

  • Actually $57 is not less than double the price of $28. But still it seems like a good deal.

The link says 400g, and Kogan states that the weight is 338 g. Is it real? I just weighed my Xiaomi 10000mAh and it weighs 343g.

    • the mustato is actually AUD28.95 so
      28.95*2 > 57.06

that 57.06 is before cashreward and using their conversion rate still

      winning

      • +2

        winning

Not really when comparing grey vs local stock, and subsequent delivery times

        • yeah i laid out all the facts already including grey, and also patience….
went on full transparency already sorry if not enough

        • @dragonindespair:

It's $1 difference for an extra 4 weeks wait time… As I said, not really 'winning'… but thanks for the negs… lol

        • @Spackbace: my winning was for he said 28x2 is not less than 57 but then actually i was just lazy and didnt put the full price of 28.95 and 57.06

        • +3

@Spackbace: Just wait until Mushtato has them in stock. Most likely it's less than 4 weeks…

      • 2x 10000mAh is better than 1x 20000mAh because you can charge one while using one

    • that 338 will be the older version. saw this weight dimension on several websites

    • A 20 Ahr battery would be at least 300g, so it is possible.

343g for a 4-cell powerbank is very heavy. Mine are around 250g each with good cells.

  • +3

"In stock, usually dispatched in 86000000 business milliseconds".

  • dont forget cash rewards~!

  • How many hours required to charge the power bank?

    • +1

5 amp chargers (roughly average phone charger ) will fill it in four hours.

      • +2

I know it is probably a typo but there's no 5A chargers. There are 5V charges. Amperage varies from 1 up to 4A (OnePlus3/T Dash Charging).

        • Thankyou!

  • +5

going onto 2 months still haven't received item from this deal bangnogood

    • +6

Doesn't surprise me, yet people will still downvote this comment sigh

      • +2

Sometime you get downvote not because of this particular comment. They may not like your previous posts and neg you when ever they can. Don't forget there are a bunch of cry babies on Ozbargain.

I know there is a slimkid constantly replied on my comments and kept asking me about the Sony TV over a few hundred times.

      • Agree.. won't buy from them again.. wait times ridiculous.

    • You can email them and they will refund you

    • bought more than 10x all arrived safely less than a month so im not sure why….
im in sydney postcode 2000 though. (parcel locker)

  • Why is this a bargain when Mushtato is selling it for A$49.95 delivered?

    • because, that 49$ is older version, confirmed by mustato himself in the 10000mah thread.
the difference is older version doesnt have qc3 output, just fast input
      and dimension slightly differ

      http://gadgets.ndtv.com/mobiles/news/xiaomi-launches-20000ma…

      • So the new version can charge twice as fast?

      • Wait.. there's actually a guy named Mushtato? Tell me that isn't his real name.

        • It's a she, and she's got a weird name, Gratarrot Mushtato

        • @Meconium: Her parents must have really hated her. Or wanted a boy.

    • It seems that QC 2.0 is the easiest way to see that it's the old version.

    • That one has QC charging to the power bank itself, but not to connected devices. In other words, it has one-way charging only (and I would be more concerned about being able to fast charge a connected device. With the power bank, you could leave that to charge whilst you are sleeping).

      • to charge whilst you are sleeping)

Is a bit dangerous nowadays. At least if you charge it during the day and explode someone will notice. But at night? Well..

Also if you are travelling and only have short time access to charge your empty power bank you will appreciate quick charging input as well. For example in the hotel lobby…

        • what's with this exploding? is that something to do with Note 7? never heard of a Xiaomi explode, I leave them to charge at night most of the time and you've got me in quite a pickle now! :-o

        • +1

@enzioFirenze: well we never (rarely) heard mobile phone explodes until note 7 - thanks to Sammy
          everything has a beginning.

The Vinsic would be a good alternative:

    http://www.vinsic.com/Products/sku-VSPB303B

  • This is a very nice power bank and smaller than first gen.

    • Shower slimmer but thicker and possibly heavier.

      • +1

First gen is 338g and second gen is 327g.

  • It's surprising that the didn't upgrade the micro usb port to a type C with this device. I only have one type c device at the moment but I imagine anything I buy going forward will be type C.

    • +2

ZMI (Manufacturer of Xiaomi power banks) have released their own 20000mAh power bank with USB-PD over Type-C. Costs more though :(

      http://www.banggood.com/ZMI-QB820-20000mAh-Quick-Charge-2_0-…

      • Thanks for the link. The photo shows the type c port charging a macbook directly so it's bi-directional and a usb key and mouse attached so it's a usb hub also!!! Looks worth the extra $ to be future proof. I still got some battery packs that use mini usb ports!!!

  • Dammit just got the old model with no qc output.

  • +1

Delivery takes forever! Good luck! Banggood NoGood!

  • +1

actually i have found banggood delivery to be one of the quickest out of most other similar sites.

  • Bought one in the Beijing Store in January a lot cheaper than this but will say it is an excellent power bank and the QC works well.

  • I have one of these got it from Xiaomi for $35ish late last year, works really really well managed to fully charge iphone6 3-4 times before charge dies completely

It is abit heavy though 400g but I still really recommend this. I have brought it into the US and NZ no issues at customs, it works out to be like half the legal watthour(could be wrong unit of measurement) around 70 vs the max 150 rating you're allowed for air travel
