The Cathay Pacific is a good deal, too bad those dates a bit early for me :(

Don't know why OP bothered putting departure date 16 Feb. As if someone is going to purchase that ticket and fly out tomorrow

You're first in line - if anyone can do it, it's you!

It's the same old joke I hear all the time

Great prices but be aware if you go with VN and leave Saigon/Hanoi transit/airport, you'll need a Vietnam visa. That's both a hassle and $.
Communist country bureaucracy is not tourist friendly!

    • A lot of visitors seem to disagree with your last comment:

Mmm interesting. So, "are you now or have you ever been a member of…"

member of what ? Just ask and I will answer, I can't read mind.

        • @z28:

Sorry, its memorable for anyone old who remembers McCarthyism http://www.writing.upenn.edu/~afilreis/50s/miller-mccarthyis…

BTW I've visited Vietnam a few times (+ once in the transit lounge at HCM airport for 7 hours on my way to Moscow, hence my "be aware" comment) but still I overwhelming found there (and Moscow) that Communist country bureaucracy is not tourist friendly.

    • Most countries require a visa to leave the airport (ie enter their country). And bureaucracy is rarely tourist friendly, whether communist or capitalist.

Worth noting that Vietnam airlines has long layover - so if you're booking purely on price you likely need to factor in the cost of visa and entertainment expenses.

  • When does this deal end? hope its not just for tonight…? Cant find anything on the website
