  • wHY COTD not show up the Model Code as always?

    • +1

probably cuz COTD itself is a model code for Crap of the day

    • because then you'll know they are either crap, or that you can find them cheaper elsewhere…

    • They sometimes do on the product specs page but not always.

I wont buy anything from them if there isnt a model listed as there is no way to tell if you are paying too much (and i suspect you probably are)

  • I'm pretty sure its this model. It doesn't have bad reviews but I suspect the model is a little old based on the age of the reviews (hence the discount).

    Target - $39.95. Go.

    • Nice work zombie - My mate has some of these headphones and they're pretty cool - but I shall stop by Target before COTD - cheers for the headsup.

Bought one from Target last month for the same price (no postage). Question if you want infrared or RF. The transmitter unit is very directional as is the receiver on the headset, moving your head from side to side does introduce noise. I bought it as a extra unit for a car dvd (uses standard Infrared audio frequencies)and it works fine. One thing to note, the headphones don't "enclose" the ear so won't reduce car noise, I suppose this will only be an issue in a noisy car.

    • Good find!

Hopefully there will be some in my local target.

    • yeah pretty big problem with infrared..you cant really move around too much… better of with the RF/FM sets or whatever…

  • Yup, can confirm I saw it at Target for $39.95 as well. If you are not in a hurry to get it then you could wait as Target sometimes has 20-40% off the range of products.
COTD ? You're probably their catch when you buy from them.

  • Would have been better if it was rechargeable (like the one I have already). Is it stereo or mono only?

  • Oh no!!! I think I've become one of their catches.. but we will see..
