  I'm all for the "(profanity) Soniq" posts because I've had a shit deal with them too, but to their credit I guess, my father's one's been going strong since 2013. That shouldn't be the exception though, they're bullshit for so many reasons that I can't be bothered typing on my phone.

  Anyway, shitty price anyway, even if it was new this wouldn't be anything close to a bargain. 4K maybe, but even then there's better deals

  The $599 is the original price of a Brand New one. It's not the original price of this refurb LOL DOH

  This is a 2014 model, already 3 years (and 3 generations) old.

  Only one advantage of Soniq refurbs is that you get 18mth warranty rather than 12 month warranty for the new ones. So that speaks volumes about how bad the QC is in the chinese factory

  I've had this exact TV model for 2 years now. For the price they are a steal for a second TV or for console gaming. Absolutely NEEDS a speaker bar though.
