    bootloop?

    • +3

not showing up on V20 yet, however I'm not giving this too much hope…

The LG bootloop issue on previous models hasn't really become known until around the 12 month mark. Even the Nexus 5x wasn't safe. I really don't get it, LG has known (or claimed to have known) what the cause was since the G4. But the same issue affected the V10 and G5. Worst of all has been how LG has handled, or not handled, the whole thing.

Edit: Sorry, telling you what you already know. Just frustrated eith LG - great hardware that they always manage to ruin.

At this point it's safe to say Bootloops are a feature, not a bug.

      • I don't think there's widespread boot loops in G5s…it's been known for iffy build quality…

Why would you when you can get one that supports b28 from eBay for $700 delivered?

    • Example Please…

      • +4

$683.85 delivered or $699 delivered on the eBay link.

        All deals

So both are cheaper (this B&H deal comes to $699.97 delivered here using MasterCard exchange rates) and most importantly is suitable for Australian use.

In other words, unless you're on Vodafone - forget it!

  • Not going to neg the deal because OP put in effort to find it, but the device isn't really suitable for anything other than Voda

You can get it for less than $700 delivered for the Asian model which is a much more prudent choice for Australia…
