  • This is a good deal, bought this TV not even two months ago best price for a physical store was $650 from Videopro

Was cheaper on their online store, so there was a small "fee" of about $50 for instore pickup, was still $100 cheaper than anywhere else around (most other stores had them well in to the $700s).

Pretty nice TV in my opinion.

  • I dont believe my 19'' non-HD Samsung LCD TV was only around $100 cheaper about 2-3 years ago i think…

  • Hi
Anyone know which TV can use the USB to connect protable 2.5" Harddrive or USB Key to watch RMVB AVI format moives? because more TV can do that but only said it can watch moives. not mention watch format. Thanks

    • no TV decode RMVB, you need an external media player/box

Not that great a deal for a 32" non-Full HD, even if it is a decent brand. Fairly average.

i rekon in this day and age, you gotta have a full hd tv,
mind you, i have a 24" full hd, and can tell the difference quite easily, on a 32", you definatly need full hd for movies and sport. but still a good deal, considering the big w awa brand is like 400 for brand never heard of.

Actually you have to be less then 5 feet away to notice any difference on a 32 inch 1080p - http://s3.carltonbale.com/resolution_chart.html

    • First TV we had (that i can remember) in our household was a AWA. Lasted 20 years. I suppose that's normal life span for a cath. ray tube TV?
Anyway, would buy AWA if it meet the criteria.

I got my Toshiba Full HD 32" lcd for $615 at the good guys @ nunawading. I think the price I got was very competitive compared to the samsungs, but the salesperson was commenting to another customer that the toshibas picture tend to be more "neutral" whereas the samsungs have greater colour contrast. Doesn't make so much difference to me, so I went with the toshiba. A similar samsung unit was closer to about $900, I think.
