I have contacted the seller, even though the item says shipped from Hong Kong, the item will be sent from the DJI Melbourne warehouse.

BasicValue sell 2 'fly more' combos, this one is shipped from Melbourne and is listed for $2199, or there is the this one, which is exactly the same except it says shipping from Hong Kong and is cheaper at ~$1650 after discount applied.

    according to seller, it is local warranty, as it leaves the melbourne warehouse,

  hmmm, thee could be some confusion here.

  I am thinking that the one from Hong Kong is no local warranty but does have local support from Basic Value.

  I have purchased a few things from Basic Value and they ship fast but sometimes their rush means listings may not always be too accurate and I think this warranty misunderstanding is one of those issues in that the listing says shipped from Hong Kong but seller contradicts this by saying shipped from Melbourne.

  I am 99% sure when you receive the version it will be from Hong Kong & will not have a AU serial number but Basic Value will provide back-to-base warranty.

  I'm a Christian and wouldn't lie about this.

  Prob no gst so no way to claim back. Will it attract duty as over $1k?

  I also looked into dji care/refresh and was about to pull the trigger (even purchased authentic local stock over much cheaper hong kong options) but then realised it doesn't cover theft, loss or fly aways. Ended up about the same as photog insurance but with international theft and loss cover.

      The ebay listing is USD and the Account is listed as Hong Kong.

      I see you asked.. but I wonder if their reply was legit if you were to buy the one listed as Hong Kong rather than the more expensive one listed as Australia.

    No tax invoice means no AU warranty. Most likely you send it back to them, they ship it back to Hong Kong and deal with it and you wait, wand wait and wait. I prefer AU warranty, shipped it to Melb and got it back after a week and a half.
