Got this for an xmas present awhile ago so i'm going to neg.. this is not a bargain at any price..

    • Cheaper than Aeroguard?

      • Celebrity fragrances have been a thing for ages now, personally I don't understand why people buy them?

        • +1

oh, i don't know. maybe they like the fragrance itself?

        • -3

@tdw: ok mate get your gf some Paris Hilton perfume for her next birthday…

        • -1

@DaTa: only if there's a bargain for it

  • bro.. do you even issey miyake?

    • +2

don't play the high and mighty, issey mikaye is also a cheap(ish) "drug store" fragrance these days…

    • everyone that shops in St Vincent De Pauls do

  • +7

This is CW's regular price. Sometimes it gets as cheap as 11.99.

Crikey the descriptive wordsmiths are so over the top, you would think they were selling an exclusive wine instead of a blokes deodorant. Generally women's deodorants are about 3 times dearer. Strange anomaly.

    • +1

Most perfume descriptions are like this, cheap or expensive. Fragrance prices dont differ much between male and female, only differ between brands eg. David Beckham (a cheap celeb perfume) and Jo Malone (designer).

      Also, these aren't deodorants.

      • Jo Malone was/is a perfumer, not a designer.

        • +1

What I meant was a perfume designer, someone who makes fragrances rather than just being the face on the bottle.

        • @Ughhh: Fair enough. I thought you meant designer like Calvin Klein/Ralph Lauren/Lanvin etc.

      • this isn't a perfume either. eau de perfumes for men aren't common; men's fragrances are usually EDT.

        • Well if you want to be that specific. EDT and EDP are both commonly called perfumes. If you went into to Priceline and asked for men's perfumes, you'd be shown edts and EDP if they have any.

        • +1

@Ughhh: yeah, it's a misnomer to call both of them perfumes but it happens because the average consumer at priceline typically doesn't know what does/doesn't qualify as a perfume. the specialty stores use "fragrance" as it's a more accurate name that covers all the different concentrations

    • +1

it's not a strange anomaly when you consider that women's fragrances are typically eau de perfumes, which have a higher concentration of fragrance oil than eau de toilettes or eau de colognes (both, typically "male" fragrances).

and then you've got actual "parfum" perfume is the most concentrated, and therefore most expensive.

  • I always get them at this price along with the Nautica ones. Decent enough for wearing to work everyday!

      you work in a morgue?

      • +3

Close enough! I do tax auditing. I just don't feel the need to spend more for an inoffensive scent for work, don't need to impress anyone. I use a fancier scent with better projection when going out though.

  • What a flog.

  • Sure to get lot of dates..

  • I would call this price about fair value.

  • wow that's really cheap for a celebrity perfume

  • +2

    I got given a bottle of this…. It's horrible.

  • He deserves a knighthood for this stuff
